Frontier Vantage Dan McCarthy president CEO Screwed up my cable tv and I lost programs Norwalk CT
*Consumer Comment: The CEO? Seriously??
I put my tv service on vacation pause while I was going to be away. The company gave my spot on the equipment to another customer. The result was I lost all my recordings like Ben Hur, To Kill a Mocking bird, A Bronx Tale, etc.
The service guys who came to the house were great but the upper management is absolutely terrible about restoring service. Two men were here for most of the day and having trouble themselves with the people from Frontier in solving my problem.

The CEO? Seriously??

The CEO has nothing to do with your cable service. Nothing. Now, there is a General Manager in a local Frontier office near you. Does he have anything to do with your cable TV service? NO!! Senior management had nothing to do with your failed cable TV service.
The company gave my spot on the equipment to another customer. The only way that happens is IF the company didn't put you on vacation hold, but instead stopped your service. If you lost the recordings on your DVR or equivalent, that's generally what they did. Otherwise, removing the pause would never cause you to lose any information.
Believe it or not, the service technicians who came to your home to try and fix the service are generally speaking at about the same level as the people they were dealing with at the office. The only difference between the two is knowledge about their world. Service techs always have trouble with people back at the office. It didn't mean the service guys were better. It meant the problem was a whole lot more complex than the service guys think it is.....
