I was sent a letter from ftb.ca.gov stating that I owe back taxes from 2013 in the estimated amount of $1900. I called the number from the letter and spoke with Irena. She said I still have to file my 2013 taxes but I can set up a payment plan to pay it off. I thought this was unusual so I refiled my 2013 return and I owe zero dollars. I then googled the # they provided and it is a false number. I am worried because I gave her my social sec. # and my address.
