I searched the web for a "location" closest to my parents so they could purchase a Travel Trailer for me to use, the intention was to find a reputable brand, Warren Buffet's Company of Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary "sounds" reputable. Cleburne was a 160 mile drive for me, but only 29 miles for my aging parents.

We met Ed Gentry, Sales Advisor, in Cleburne in April 2014. We viewed several trailers "on the showroom floor only," as my parents are in their 80's, being in the sun and heat at the time was too much and it was very windy. I had selected two trailers, Forest River Wildwood's, that I liked from the web and we looked at them. Mr. Genrty was helpful and kind, and stated the "showroom trailers were personally picked by the GM, Raul Ramirez." I picked up my new 2014 Wildwood, with "alleged leather and Stainless, Power Package," on April 29, 2014.

Upon arrival at my destination, within two weeks, I noticed a leak in the sink, the shower, and the slide out had completely failed, stripping off the wood paneling. First I took the trailer to the Fun Town Waco location, with an appointment and was told by the "Owner's brother - who runs the Service dept, that it would be about 4 days to repair." I left and went to a friend's house. I had a long trip coming up for the summer break, July 4th, and needed it back. I drove through a tornado in Belton, TX to get to Waco.

The 4 days came and went and no call from the Waco Fun Town, so I called them and spoke with the fellow and the told me they had not touched it. Furious, as the promise date had come and gone, I called Ed Gentry in Cleburne and he told me to bring it on a specific date in May and they would make the repairs. I took it to them with the small list of adjustments and left the trailer, mind you I'm 160 miles from that location. The Cleburne repair called me and told me they had the trailer ready and I had to wait a couple of days to drive up. In another spring tornado I drove up to Cleburne. Their, they told me they could find no shower leak, no water leak in the kitchen, but they did hammer back in the paneling that came off and adjusted the slide by 1.5". They noted that it appeared one of the panels had nicks on it, and I told them yes, from the chair. They indicated they had repaired the panel. I did the walk around, checked everything and left.

It came time to leave for July vacation to Ft. Davis, TX. The trip there was nice, except for the current gas prices out that way at $3.99 and 5 mpg in my Tundra 5.7 ltr. On the way back, however, I happened to look into my side view mirror to see the entire driver side of the travel trailer poofed out like a pillow, then I moved the driver side mirror up and down and saw the roof coming off, completely. It was a 10 hour drive and the speed limits are 85 on I-10 with crosswinds galore. I took photos as I could for proof. Upon return, I immediately called Ed Gentry who told me to make a list of everything wrong and bring it in. There were 26 items needing repair, including the repairs from the previous "repair," that Fun Town Cleburned stated "did not exist."

I was given 2 months time frame to have the repairs made. 2 months came and went, my father drove down and talked to Raul Ramirez and I now found out that Mr. Ramirez is a liar and completely lied to me about what he told my father. When  I finally was able to pick it up, it was filthy dirty, they had not evn washed it, they still claimed there was not any water leak from the sink, and they had sealed the shower area, put a new roof on and had "stapled" down the aluminum siding.

I chose to test drive the trailer to my parents, 29 miles away. Before I even left the repair parking lot on my walk around I found missing parts, they had to replace a "Missing" power stablizer jack button on the passenger side that was not put on, and the power jack was still sparking electric sparks at the propane. As I pulled out of the Fun Town RV parts area onto Business 67, around 55 mph, the 10 lb HDTV Antenna Blew off and nearly hit a truck in the driver side windshield. I heard it come off, and saw in the driver side view what happened. He picked up the antenna and told me take it back immediately or he would sue them with  me. So I went back and the same skinny buy put it together. Yes, there were apologies. I drove off to my parents.

While driving, I shot pictures of the alumimun sides poofing out like a pillow, called them and said I would return it the following day. When I dropped it off, I told them to fix it right. The went to speak to Raul Ramirez, General Manager, a short, Napolean Complex kind of guy. He stuck his hand out to shake mine and grabbed it so hard, to show his "machismo" I suppose, so I shook it back just as hard and told him I could squeeze as hard as he could if he'd like. Then he told me he was going to call the "police on me for running up on him..." Which I had to wait on him for over 5 minutes. I asked him, as he closed the doors to his office, his reason for threatening me with police action with the doors closed, that he needed to open them. I noticed he had cameras in every area monitoring the entire place. My complaint with him was that he had not returned an email to me, and all I wanted was a proper trailer repair.

He advised me he had told my father he could trade in the trailer, if wanted, for one with less, problems. (This was a lie, because had that been offered, my father would have taken him up on the deal).  He then realized he was "much overreacting," and apologized for not responding to my email. He called over a service manager and explained the situation and that the trailer would be repaired this time. I left the trailer and drove back to Austin, TX, 160 miles away because they told me, "..we will call you when it's ready."

That was a Monday in mid-September, coming up on October 2014. The trailer had been in the shop since mid-July 2014. Entire summer was gone, migration season was already over, the State parks already had their hosts in place. I get a call on a Saturday as to why I was not there to pick up my trailer. I reminded whomever called that they never advised me as to when to pick up the trailer. I did my walk through when I drove up after the weekend, rearranged my schedule. I found, that they had put dents and dings in my side walls, sprapyed white stuff on my power jack stabilizer and stained it, there was missing paint and scrathces on the front fiberglass, and in the walk through the entire refridgerator was mildewed, and they claimed no problems with leaking and that "the body shop" had put staples just randomly and someone themselves at the "Fun Town Cleburned repair shop," took off all the alumimun and used screws, not staples, to screw in the alumimun. I did my check because they claimed to have replaced the entire slide out cornice. I saw they had not, but simply used those "markers" one uses on antique furniture.

I checked the door to make sure it was stable and checked everything and tied down cabinets as they had also ripped off in travel. I secured everthing. I thought I checked everything. Upon my return to Austin, TX,  I found beer cans in the cabinet, poured out and stained the interior, male urine covering the entire toilet bowl and smelling like a male bathroom, cigarette butts in the underbelly, television still not installed properly, but at a slight lean, they replaced the horrific non BluRay DVD/AM/FM "etnertainment system" with no HDMI at all (we're talking entertainment system from the late 90's a Linear model), and the bedroom door completely bent off it's hinges and falling off, not closeable.

In November 2014, I find the interioir humidty not dropping below 60%. I could not get the heater to work. I pulled out the fuse, took apart the area from under the fridge and stove because I could not get the stove to work, either,  I was told/sold it was an electric ignition oven. Found out it was not, pulled out the heater and found puddles of water that was still leaking from the sink, as I told them in May, 2014, but the wood was entirely soaked, and I had to leave it outside to dry and investigating further, I found that the left side of the sink piping had been completely stripped and everytime I washed dishes, it was flowing down the pipe and the entire area beneath the sink had puddles of water, just puddles. I bought items at a local RV Outlet for the door, the track is broken, so I must get that as well, and I'm going to have to repair the sink. I too, have found that the entire bottom of the kitchen area is now so soaked that the wood is peeling back the "coating" applied to make it look fancy. And upon investigating further, the "sold as leather" options which upped the price, is pure Vinyl. I have had to repair the dinette seating with screws that actually fit the wood.

The product is sold as "Made in the USA," where all over this trailer it reads, "Assembled in Mexico," and what manufacturer chooses staples versus screws for alumimun siding? The trailer did not even come with an outside shower, television, working dvd player, and who uses RCA jacks in 2014, we're into HDMI, and BluRay. The outlet in the bedroom is for "cable" only. I'll have to "fish" cable to make it DISH worthy. The output on the installed "entertainment system," is about 20W so the sound cannot be heard over the very loud AC unit.

Does Warren Buffet know about how he is scamming the middle class with cheap, probably slave or child labor and the cost of repairs they made to this trailer did not "make it worthy to be replaced." Fun Town, is not the place to purchase anything, be is Waco, where the brother runs people off from the repair shop, to Cleburne where they sell the cheapest models available. This is scam, and to be threatened to have the police called...this is pathetic. Forest River and Fun Town are scams on Americans.
