I am writing to report that I spent $195.92 at Game Crazy in Federal Heights CO on 84th and Pecos. I purchased a WII- GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR GAME not even one week ago and one of the symbols stopped working. I called becuase the receipt stated that I could exchange the merchandise, the representative I spoke with Jovan told me he would not exhange the item (even though my recepit states that) he said I hade to call Activision, which he did not have the number for. He gave me the phone number of the District Mgr. which has NOT called me back. DONT EVER BUY GAMES AT GAME CRAZY I am now out $200 for nothing

I understand your frustrations

AUTHOR: Marley - (U.S.A.)

When you buy the bundles it comes with a packet of information inside of it that says, 'If defective do not return to store of purchase' and they give you all the information for contacting Activision and information on their exchange policy.

But I understand your frustration, when World Tour was launched the drum set had an extremely high defective rate, and Activision was M.I.A for the first two weeks. Activision told us to tell customers that we couldn't return or exchange the bundles they had to contact them instead, and would never respond. It was poor customer service on their parts.

I work for Gamestop, We ended up just exchanging all the defective bundles with new ones, to make it easier for the customers.

I hope this helps in some way

#1 UPDATE Employee

You DO have to contact Activision

AUTHOR: Michigone - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 20, 2009

Employees have been notified that such is true. We can actually get in HUGE TROUBLE for taking World Tour bundles back. Getting chewed out by customers is bad enough, getting chewed out AGAIN from a manager or DM is even worse. Please don't get mad at the customer service reps, our hands are truly tied in this situation. The DM never calling you back on the other hand, is lame.

Also, there should have been a slip inside your World Tour box informing you that any instrument problems to contact Activision.

From Activision: Our goal would be to immediately address any hardware issues Guitar Hero World Tour players have with the game. Consumers should visit the Activision Publishing customer support website at www.activision.com/support website or call 310 255-2050 in the U.S. where a customer care representative will assist them. Activision is fully committed to the highest quality manufacturing standards, and to satisfying every Guitar Hero World Tour fan so they can enjoy the best musical gaming experience ever created.

I've heard there are even some things they can run you through to perhaps fix the instruments without sending them in.

Hope that helps.
