I purchased a game server from Game Daemons for a 2nd time, in hopes that my experience would be improved from my 1st. Well, I should've learned the first time. Game Daemons promotes themselves as a leader in the industry, and you would assume so since the company is affiliated with Speakeasy.

So the first day I purchased the server I tried to login in and it was offline. So I sent a support ticket and I was replied to stating that the error was fixed. I am writing this on day 7 and still... no server. They continue to say they are escalating the issue and all I ever get is my support tickets deleted and refusal for a refund. I mean.... give me a break! I pay nearly $100 dollars and I haven't received any of the services. They say that I agreed to a no refund policy when i signed up... it's apparenlty somewhere in the small text.

So I decided to read the small text and it clearly states in the TOS that (4.)Clients are only eligible for refunds with technical related issues with the actual game port or managed server that is deemed as a fault of Game Daemons.

Call me crazy but does it sound like I'm the reason the server isnt working.

Well, they continue to give me the run around and I can only say that the company's practices and standards are far under par to the competition. I took my business to and magically everything works perfect.

I would also like to mention that the company is so distant from its customer's that its support forum is full of posts from competing companies advertising their products. they dont even moderate their support forums.

It seems crazy to think a company like this would be so horrible.. I could go on and on. There are several complaints toward Game Daemons and I'm shocked I'm the first one writing here. To give you an idea of their support level, visit their IRC support channel @ - port 6667 channel #gamedaemons. It's a joke.

I wanted to post a update of the service I have received.

I gave the company the benefit of the doubt and tried one last time to get the server fixed. So I submitted another trouble ticket.

Ticket# 3812 **My 4th Ticket**


As stated in last ticket, I reinstalled the server and I am now unable to start it. Thank you for your continued assistance. It has been 4 long days of no server because of these problems.

(ME) **Frustrated at this point**

I think my experience with your service is self evident. I have not been able to use the server since I purchased it and the continued support is appreciated but it is not alleviating the problems. Under the terms I am eligible for a refund and I do request a refund immediatley upon receiving this request. 4.Clients are only eligible for refunds with technical related issues with the actual game port or managed server that is deemed as a fault of Game Daemons.

(GD) With the same response over and over and over

Our admin are still looking in this issue and will follow up with you. Please do not send multiple duplicate tickets as they will be deleted. You may follow up on this ticket for any correspondence.


You may have not understood my request. I don't want it looked into anymore. I want a refund. If this cannot be done formally, I will request a chargeback from the bank. Thanks


Here is the TOS that you agreed to when you made the purchase. In terms of your issue, we are still working to resolve this issue with your server and will issue credit where needed: Refunds and Cancellations. Your acceptance of this Terms of Service/Acceptable Use Agreement also means that you have read and understand Game Daemons' refunds and cancellations policy and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
1.Game Daemons may issue refunds to clients that have made an early payment by Paypal subscription or manual credit card transaction before the due date as indicated by the appropriate invoice, unresolveable technical related issues affecting the performance of our products, or other items on a case by case basis.
2.If a user has made a payment by Paypal subscription before the due date of their product renewal, Game Daemons will issue a refund if notified before that due date.
3.If a client has made a payment on a Game Daemons product and requests a refund on or after the due date, the client is ineligible for a refund.
4.Clients are only eligible for refunds with technical related issues with the actual game port or managed server that is deemed as a fault of Game Daemons. Clients are not eligible for refunds with problems with any other items that come with our core products (Game Servers and Managed Servers). This includes, but is not limited to HLTV, Webspace, Subdomain, FTP, etc. 5.Clients should contact our billing office with inquiries on receiving refunds:
6.If a client desires to cancel service with Game Daemons, they understand that the only way for such cancellation is by not paying for service. To cancel, clients must either (a) go to their Paypal account and cancel the active subscription service, or; (b) uncheck the automatic bill pay and remove all credit card information from the credit card section of their kPanel, or; (c) not send any money orders, cash, or checks to our billing department. 7.Clients also agree that they are aware that they may contact us with billing related questions by (a) emailing, or; (b) writing our billing department at GameDaemons Billing, 2323 Bryan Street, Suite 2424, Dallas, TX, 75201, or; (c) calling 877.DAEMONS (323-6667) or 214-981-1943. In the written notification, clients must include their GDXiD, Server IP, and reason for cancelation. 8.Clients are also aware that once a purchase has been made, Game Daemons does not issue refunds for any reason whatsoever.

(My Thoughts)
**Game Daemons does not issue refunds for any reason whatsoever." But doesn't the TOS clearly state that 4.Clients are only eligible for refunds with technical related issues with the actual game port or managed server that is deemed as a fault of Game Daemons.**

So I decided to give them a call. The young gentleman who answered the phone was very straight to the point when he stated that "Our billing department just doesnt like giving refunds..sorry"

The Game Daemons billing department just doesn't like to give out refunds..well excuuuuuse me!
