Received letter with check. Names on check: Gateway Services, 137 Row A, Bronx, NY 10474. JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. Amount $ 990.00.

Asked to cash check and send $ 870 to a non-exisisting relative(same name) in Canada via MoneyGram. Keep $ 100 , and $ 20 is service fee for MoneyGram.

I called JPMorgan Chase today(11/12/08) and they confirmed that it is a scam and JPMorgan Chase have a "hold alert" on the account. They suggested to take the check to my local Postmaster so that they can follow up and try to stop this scam.
