Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
I was granted a credit limit increase on my American Eagle Credit Card and used the card to make my purchases for my daughter's school clothes. A month after the credit limit increase, they lowered my credit to an amount that was lower than it was before the increase and forced me to go over the credit limit by 106.00!
How can they be allowed to do that?! I am currently awaiting a response from customer service. If they don't fix the problem, I will not be using the card anymore and I will be cancelling it.

File complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and Office of Thrift Supervision.
Do not expect any assistance from customer service - they will do not do anything to fix it. From the thousands of complaints I have read on a lot of different complaint boards - GEMB will ignore you because they are in the wrong and they know it.
