GE Money Bank - Funancing worse than a lone shark Internet

I received a unsolicited Peachtree Direct C.C. with a $7000.00 line of credit. I ordered a Dell Laptop and after 3 months I cancelled the order. Later I needed a air cleaner because my mother was sick and she needed the air cleaned. I have been paying on this item for more than 18 months now, and I still owe more than what the filter cost. I set up to have my payments taken out twice from my bank acct.(I had to do this online as I could not get anyone on the phone. THey call me 1 day after they take out a $15.00 late charge and I make the payment. My mother is having a colonostomy done Friday and if all goes well, I will pay off these crooks and be done with them. I did not realize that they also own the bank the I have my Chevron and Texaco cards through. I pay that balance in full monthly. If I did not have to spend almost $10,000.oo having my mothers home fixed for her with handicap rails and a hidratherapy bath tub, I would have went to Sears and paid much less for the air filter. I do not make minimum payments either, I pay at least twice the minimum which is only $30.00 as the minimum payment is only $15.00. I set up my acct. to be drafted monthly for $50.00 and I feel they screwed me twice by not filing the automatic drafts so they can collect $15.00 in late fees. I would never use Peachtree and I also would never again open a account with GE and I also will never buy another GE product. I remodeled my mothers kitchen with Whirlpool appliances. To the lady who was scammed on the Computer,my heart goes out to you. I bought a better laptop than I was going to buy from Peachtree with a integrated camera and microphone for about $1000.00 when Pechtree wanted $1700.00. I also would not deal with Compaq, they will not tell you anything without that $199.00 and you will still have to pay to have it fixed. I bet you can have a new hard drive installed for $200.00 as I did with my old Compaq, and I would also install a good firewall like Norton to keep out worms and viruses that damage computers. If you deal with Compaq that is just throwing away $200.00 unless you can understand a heavy Indian accent and know more about computers than the average person. They will finally t6ell you to send it to a Compaq repair center.
