I just recently made an electronic payment to gemoneybank, they claim the electronic check was not covered and charged a bounced check fee to my account, then they charged a late fee. Funny thing is that my bank covers all of my checks even when there is insuficient funds and has no record of gemoney tring to charge my account. This was the first time I paid them as I just opened the account. I'm closing my account. This was not a error in bank account numbers but definetly fraud

File formal complaints

With the Federal Trade Commission and the Office of Thrift Supervision - Both offices

I have seen many complaints just like this one.
And it violates the Fair Credit Billing Act. You can find the info on the Fair credit billing act at the www.FTC.gov website.

You have rights and they are being violated by GE Money - they love to do this and will not fix it without filing complaints with the government

Also do a internet search on GE Money complaints and you will find hundreds of them all over the US. You will also find international complaints about the very same issue.
