Gentek building products Alcan Building Products steell permanent siding continues to peel & chip Internet

I just read about other complaints about peeling and chipping steel siding.  We have had this problem since 2001.  We turned in our first complaint, went through warranty and it was only repainted since we have "white" siding.  We talked with our local installer who had it on his house.  He had put blue on his house and it had faded so they replaced his entire house siding because they couldn't match the "blue" anymore due to fading.  Ours was repainted twice in 2 years due to repeeling and chipping the following year (none of this due to hail damage)  which shouldn't have affected it paintwise anyway, just denting.  Now in 2011, we noticed we had peeling and chipping happening again.  I'm submitting another claim through Gentek warranty, but know that there is little that they will do for us.  We're not sure we even want them to replace the siding as they contract out their own people to do the work and some of the painters we've had were absolutely terrible.  The first time we were out of town for our daughter's wedding and they wouldn't reschedule; said they could do it while we were gone.  Sure.  They power washed the paint off and we had paint chips and flecks all over our yard (which is quite large).  Am sure it wasn't good for our grass and flower beds around the house.

I am trying to be nice to the warranty department as I'd really like my house to look nice.
