I recently received a letter in the mail congratulating me of winning a sweepstakes that was drawn 4 months prior. The letter stated I had won $200,000 and the cheque (check) I received with the letter was taken out of my winnings to cover the Non Resident Government Service Tax (GST). The tax amount was $2950.00, to be paid through Western Union or Money Gram. I was excited for like a minute then I checked it out on the Internet.

The people mentioned in the letter are Tim Phillips (President), Barrister Liz Cooper, and Brian Smith (both "claims attorneys"). This is a huge rip-off. Similar to ones from Global Enterprises.
Be careful!
