Question: If he lost his job at UPS and is no longer making the same amount that he was making at UPS and is making less then the $1,200 a month seems a little steep. Heck, and my ex is complaining about $100 a week for 1 child.

Health Insurance: if his wife has access to affordable health insurance, most will allow her to add your children if a court order is presented. Again, check with the FOC on requirements as far as the spouse having access to it.

To the relatives that are helping this man avoid child support by hiding assets: Shame on you, what if it was your daughter not getting the support for her children?

Gerald L. Ervin DBA D L Rodriguez Holdings LLC, also goes by the alias of Jerald Irvin, in his continued effort to avoid any FTB or Fed attachments to anyhting in his name for support arrears which ar now over 30k.

Gerald Lawrence Ervin, the NCP was termintated December 2005 after over 25 years at UPS, salary was apprx 100k per year. He has two sons from his first marriage but refuses to pay support. Had third court trial in September 2006,where a vocational expert testified if he was not working it was his choice. The judge imputed income at 80k per year amounting to 1,787 per month.

To date his arrears is over 27k and he still has not paid attorney fees of over 6k. He sporadically sends in payments,( a typical amount is $22.94) because he knows by doing so DCSS will not take him to court for contempt. He remarried, had another child and he and the other child are medically covered by present wife, but he refuses to cover his firstborn sons although he is court ordered to do so. The Custodial Parent , the mother, was laid off last year found employment and is currently laid off again and Gerald Ervin continues NOT to support his children, even during these circumstances.

He purchased several properties in New Mexico since December 2005, cashed in over 40k of UPS stock, cashed in his 401k, AND took out a 250k equityline on his home in February 2007. During this time he paid NO support at all. His home is valued at apprx $700,000.00 but he refuses to pay any arrearages. He has taken ALL assets out of his name,and put them in either his mother's name, Aleta Cannon ,or his wife's name , Judi Simpson, He and Simpson formed D L Rodriguez Holdings LLC November 2006 and fraudulently transferred his New Mexico property into this entity to try and avoid the child support lien. Judi Simpson is the President of D L Rodriguez Holdings LLC and evidently condones Ervin's behavior to avoid supporting his children and is assisting him in his efforts.
