Glenn Allen CPA of Mesa AZ, former owner of Glenn Allen CPA PC and Tax Settlements, Inc. and current owner of the website FilingLateReturns.com where he advertises and promotes himself as America's Leading IRS Problem Solver, The nation's oldest and most trusted IRS help service and claims to have settled over 79,000 Tax Debts, plead guilty 12/02/2005 in the U.S. Ninth District Criminal Court to Making and Subscribing to a Material Misstatement on a Tax Return a Class E felony offense. Mr. Allen has plead guilty to knowingly and intentionally failing to reported $330,000 in additional income from his business, Glenn Allen CPA PC, which should have been reported on his 2001 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return. Mr. Allen's sentencing is set for February 27, 2006 at 4:00PM before Judge Teilborg. The court is required to consider the United States Sentencing Guidelines, which in Mr. Allen's case, provides for a sentencing range of 24 to 30 months.

Here I am...I needed help due to changes in tax codes for Desert Storm Veterans. Plus, the folks at the IRS Office on Baseline in Tempe stated that I should have gone to them first.

They verified that if I had done the work on my own and brought it in to them for proofreading, I would have saved 1: The money I paid this pig & 2: I would have known the particular updates that would have applied to me. But nooooo...I was suckered. For example: The calls that he makes in front of clients to "Select" IRS personnel are all part of his smoke & mirrors tactics. Makes you feel like he is going to save your day! Trust me, he is no Mighty Mouse.

Buy the way...later that year the IRS refunded all of what I paid out in debt. So much for your Glenn Allen. I STILL hope he chokes on the money that I & other unfortunates have paid him.

I've been going to Glenn Allen CPA since 1993. I've never had a problem, he always was a straight with me. Although he does normal taxes, Glenn's specialty is dealing with people who haven't filed taxes for many years - you know, the irresponsible types. It seems to me the complainer probably doesn't even realize what Glenn might have done for him. I don't know the specifics of this case, but it's most likely Glenn saved this individual a lot of money he otherwise would have owed, and he's either unaware of it or is ungrateful.

Bottom line: Never have I had a problem with Glenn Allen, CPA. He's become a little pricey in later years, but you get what you pay for.
