Mortgage buyers beware, I had a bad expereince with a Global One Lending "Broker". These brokers are not licensed! The broker I worked with sold mortgages as a side line, could never be reached during business hours, and knew very little about lending terms and conditions.
This "broker" used the classic BAIT & SWITCH. Offered me a GREAT interest rate, made me wait for weeks for confirmation and then said I didn't qualify. OH, but could get a loan for a much higer interest rate. OUCH!
BAD BUSINESS!
There are plenty of Licensed mortagage brokers clammering for you buisness--don't get suckered by G1L!

Pyramid Schemes at Global One Lending

For most multi-level programs, income is dependent primarily on downline recruiting. As a general guideline, if you must recruit to be successful, or if a program's emphasis is on building a downline, it is a de facto pyramid scheme, whether or not it has been declared illegal by authorities. You may just be setting yourself up for wasting much precious time and money, depending on factors that can be identified by answering certain questions. Today individuals go to prison for any type of corporate or pyramid scheme crime.

Global One Lending Hiring, you are so low on the pyramid to be talking that way

I would have to agree with Emily but it depends on the manager. Joe, you are so low on the pyramid to be talking that way. You make me laugh! I think the company needs to be more careful when hiring people. They should not just hire anybody.

OVERCHARGE?! I DON'T THINK SO....

Gayle from LA...obviously you don't own a home or are just too used to getting a very high interest rate. I refinanced my first home with a well known mortgage company. (I won't mention names because I think SLANDER is bad business.) Anyways, I was charged 1 1/2 points because of "my credit". I later found out that lenders don't dictate interest rates, loan officers do. So, after paying 1 1/2 points, I still got stuck paying 6.875% on my first lien. Look, loan officers work hard. Some files are really difficult. I realize that 1-1 1/2 points may seem like alot, but what does it really mean? If I pay a point or so, how will it affect my interest rate? And by the way, if you don't like the rates that people quote, then don't sign! It's just that simple. Be cautious, yes. But do your homework first. Gayle says Global One has a lot of crooks, but she is or was a loan officer at one time...does that make you a crook Gayle? Also, please try to make some sense when you post something on the internet.
"The manager not check to see if loan is fair because they too busy"?
I'm sorry but if you are going to try to SLANDER a company, at least have SOME intelligence to give yourself some credibility.

Global One Lending Overcharge and Bait and Switch

I work for company for long time and see them overcharge many, many times. Global One use bait and switch to make money. Each agent is different though. Some you can trust and some you cannot trust. Be careful with Global One Lending. I see many people pay 3000 dollars too much for loan. The manager not check to see if loan is fair because they too busy. Owners of company never check on loans because they too busy too. Global One Lending has a lot of crooks.

This is not considered "Bait & Switch"

FIRST OF ALL, I would like to apologize for your bad experience. I am a loan officer with Global One Lending and take great pride in this company that has allowed me great success within the industry.
We have helped many clients achieve their dreams by helping them qualify to purchase their first home when they believed it would be impossible. Unfortunately in your case when your credit was ran it is very likely that you did not have the best of credit which means the loan officer has to shop lenders that have subprime programs.
As a consequence, these lenders are not going to offer you the best possible rate. Like they say "beggers can't be choosers." And a loan officer can't create a miracle they can only offer you the best rate according to your fico score.
This is not considered "Bait & Switch" since we are not aware of all the circumstances surrounding your situation. For example, I may run a credit report for Mr. Smith today and it may give me a great fico score, but then in one weeks time his score can drop for numerous reasons (ie. was late on car payment etc.) due to Mr. Smith's handling of his finances. In this case the only one here to blame is Mr. Smith.
Finally, I would like to inform you that we do have a California Funding License. This license allows us to use the top Lenders and operate accordingly. This license is used by big name companies such as B of A, Wells Fargo etc, to allow their loan officers to originate loans.
Global One Lending will help your reach your dreams. We are here to help and willing to listen. We are real people who want to make a difference. :)
