Received correspondence on 3/7/09 stating that I won the "DE-LOTTO NORTH AMERICAN SWEEPSTAKES LOTTERY ON SHOPPERS held on Friday January 16th 2009 in the 2nd category". The letter offers a claim number and enclosed with the it was a check for $4875 which I was directed to deposit BUT...here's the fun part...was told to pay applicable Government Taxes in the amount of $2875 "to be paid by WESTERN UNION OR MONEYGRAM directly to the government tax agent."
