Bought a Horse from "go for broke farm" under Garrett and Ruth Shipley, was told this was the horse for me. Had a big add about everything the horse could do and was use to, DEAD BROKE. Had two trainers work with this horse, the horse would rear on the ground just because, couldnt break her, she reared in the air and flipped herself back wards, no rider.  Then another attemp later after more training, she reared flipped backwards causing injury to a rider......Would not refund the $2000 i had in the horse, the horse ended up as a companion non rideable horse. 100% lies, They had horses returned to them before however i didnt know everything, you never do, when you are a fool and trust someones word. It is beleived that the horse was drugged in some sort of way, a few times first by the persons above who sold the horse to me! If it feels like a red flag, it is!!!

not sure what your talking about

Humm we have never had horses returned to us...I had a friend ask me to resell a horse i loved that did not work out for reenactments she had her for 3months and did not ride her at all. She loved the idea of owning a horse. She conacted me asked if I could sell her for her cause she knew how much i loved the horse. That horse replaced the one who past away but she just did not like reenacting. Still in contact with owner of her now and they love her she was perfect for them and her begginer husband. SO I have no idea what your talking about. Yeah I went through 3 horses to finally find the horse that could do trails and reenacting. Takes certian training and horses to do reenacting. Hubby went through 3 horses also. His first horse hated guns oh and my father in law bought that horse..he recently sold her to buy last yr the horse I had that was too foward for me for reenacting cause he wanted to get into reenacting. And He rides with the woman he sold his horse to. So again Not really sure what your talking about. We had some Great trail horses just not good for reenacting and we are not the type of people who keep a horse and force them to do something they dont like..like some people in reenacting do. There are someone who are out right dangerous on the field with horses who dont match them and are not good for what we do. Im not going to commment anymore. Your the only one with a problem everyone else we ever sold a horse to are still in contact with us and send us pictures. Its a hit or miss i guess with people. As a Christian woman God knows my heart and will bless me for that. Im sorry your so bitter I hope you find happiness and wish you the best of luck

I speak the the truth, God knows who I am, other horses, were returned to them, it is apparently hit or miss, I spoke with a gentle man who does war reactments, says they trade horses a lot. They just want to keep this going and it's old they think I got the horse cheap but I had other money invested in her to try to figure out what was wrong with her, I had to give her away ! people will say what they want, I believe in God, we sow what we reap, karma!

Shipleys lie

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Thursday, November 05, 2015

Farrier will not tell them what the horse did because she doesn't want to lose shieys business no one wants to tell the truth about the horse and they never ever came to see the horse, just ask the jockey who got hurt on this horse and was sent to the hospital, went to JP they told me to sent shipleys a noterised letter about the horse and ask for refund gave them 30days nothing went back to Jp he said it would cost me more fighting them or I could file for a Lein on their property a trailer on a lot of land horses in pasture with one strand of wire not worth the fight, buyer beware I only told the truth have statements from trainers and others on this horse!

The Truth

AUTHOR: ruby - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, November 05, 2015

I first would like to say that the woman above has filled that entire statement with lies. I have witiness real ones not made up ones with crazy stories. What the above person failed to mention is that I the owner of the horse that has been mentioned above. Full Back story was given to buyer. We took this horse in only because the previous owner who owned this horse for 12yrs lost their farm begged us to take her. She had been abused by one of their friends at a field trail. The friend got rough with her spurrd her and yanked a very harsh bit in her mouth which sent her rearing. Then she was locked in a trailer for the rest of the weekend.

Horse was afriad of 2horse trailers when we got her she had trust issues and had not been riden in a yr since the mistreatment. My husband put her out in the field when we brought her home gave her a week to adjust she was fine. He then put her into the arena was very easy to catch since she knew we were feeding her the first week. Did some ground work very gentle quiet around her. He sat on her back with no saddle took a selfie no problems. Shot a 22 pistol off she walk towards him. She followed him likea dog around the pen. Rode her on trails never reared bolt or kicked with us. Moved her to a bigger field she came when we called her. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS! Farrier came out trimmed her no problems guessed her age at 12 or 13 between the farrier and myself.

Sweet horse. After having her for Three months my husband realized he needed new truck tires and said we should sell her cheap for 1500 since she still needs miles. She is a gun safe, field trail horse which are worth more but i was not concerned about making money on her. I wanted her to go to a kind gentle loving person that would be her person. The woman above I knew from facebook sounded like the perfect person. She lost her horse and was looking for a horse she could bond with but not a lot of money. Gave her complete history of horse and even dropped the price to 1400 including delivery after they came out. She rode the horse and horse tested her. But this horse moved off leg and The woman told me she didnt use leg and i said she doesnt like being pulled on her mouth be gentle. I did not think they were going to buy. Her husband instisted and they bought. Took us 4hrs to load this horse on a trailer because of history of fear of the two horse. Since it was winter we did not have the room to work with her and a trailer with snow on the ground.

I gave the horse a natural calmer that i won from a local tack shop said it relaxes horses. Not drugs..I think you can only get ace from a vet but I would not know about that never had any or used anything like that. WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN DRUGGING HORSES. WE GUN BREAK HORSES IN A VERY CALM NATURAL WAY. IF YOU LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THAT YOU CAN CHECK OUT AN ARTICAL IN HORSE NATION WRITTEN ABOUT US TRAINNING CIVIL WAR REENACTMENT HORSES. Anyways we brought horse to farm and after that everything fell apart. farrier the same one we used said the woman hates the horse told her when she was there and She said horse never lunged at her or reared strait up. We offered to come out and work the horse and she wrote an email stating everything was fine and she was keeping horse. Our friend Went out to pick up the horse said horse acted crazy she has no idea what the woman did to her. New owner or friend after a couple of weeks with her had no problems she settled back down and was normal again.

We even went out to see the horse no issues. after that we have no idea what happen to the horse or where she is. We heard this horse is a pasture puff no what a shame...you could hunt of this horse with a shot gun and she doesnt even flinch. Should of just kept her she had a better life with us. But my husband needed new tires on a truck. We are not horse traders we only take in a horse once and awhile or sell our personnal horses that dont work out for reenactments. Thats it no more to be said
