Gocopyright.com I paid them to copyright a script, and I never heard from them again. Los Angeles California
*Author of original report: finally received a response from them after a year.
*Consumer Suggestion: copyright
I gave them over 100 dollars to copyright a script. They sent me a confirmation email, saying i would be contacted with further instructions. Then I never heard from them again, and never received any notice that my script had been submitted for copyright. I never received anything from the copyright office. This was last year. I sent them dozens of email, and none of them were returned.

Although, i still have not received my copyright, i did FINALLY receive an email response from them after 8 months of sending email after email. They assured me my copyright had been sent and claimed they had sent me a confirmation email 7 months ago (even though I never received one, and none of my hundred or so emails were responded to).

Your work is copyrighted the minute you put it on paper. Put at the bottom copyrright with the copyritgh symbol then the date and your name. and all rights reserved If you want to register your copyright you can go to the copyright.gov web sight and do it yourself for $45.00. You do not have to register your copyrite, put if you do, then you can sue if someone violates that. I would suggest that you go to teh web sight and do your research so you won't get taken. If youa re smart enough to write a play, you should be smart enough to do the work yourself.
