I worked as a cashier for this restaurant from June 10th to June 20th, then I had to move unexpectedly due to a family crisis, and they will not send me my paychecks (2). I have called them 8 times in the last three weeks and given them my new address three times, and still have received nothing from them. I am living in Mississippi now, much too far to travel back to this restaurant location, so I guess they know that and have decided to just not pay me for my two weeks of work there.

Were you on a weekly or bi-monthly pay schedule? Employers are not required to pay you immediately upon termination. They can wait until your next scheduled pay day in order to pay you. What was the pay day, and what was the pay period?
Additionally, since you moved you are going to be adding time to it all. The check will probably be sent to the employer first, or may have gone to your old address if you did not contact them in a timely manner. The fact that you moved suddenly after quitting suddenly will slow things down.
