I PURCHASED A GOLDEN WEST MANUFACTURED HOME IN 1999. UNBEKNOWNST TO ME THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS NOT HOOKED UP ON ONE SIDE OF THE HOUSE. THE CRAWL SPACE WAS TO SMALL AND THE LINE WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE OPENING TO THE CRAWL SPACE SO NOBODY WAS ABLE TO FIT IN AND FIX IT.

Just to let you know Golden West Perris only sells the house itself. Meaning, any connections including A/C, utilities( i.e gas, water, electric) are done by the contractor hired directly by the customer that initially purchased the home direct from a manufactured home dealer. The original purchaser has their own contractor or the dealer will recommend a contractor, in both instances it is a seperate contract. Golden West does NOT sell directy to the public, so the original purchaser went through a dealer at the time of the very first sell.
Once again Golden West sells the actual structure with all of the interior options only. Any A/C units and all connections pertaining to it were done by the contractor that set-up the home originally, then the air conditioning company the the buyer chose or was recommended by the dealer hooks up into the connections that the contractor did. Golden West can not connect, sell or a warranty any items that they do not physically build in their factory setting. I hope this helps I know that it is confusing, I work for amanufactured home dealer that carries the Golden West product and all dealers in California work under the same structure.
