Goldman , Warshaw & Parrella P.C. ,American Express Deceptive Warwick Pine Brook New Jersey
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: What your rights are as an additional cardholder.
I Was an Employee card holder on an American express card and only a card holder! Goldman, Warshaw & Parrella has taken out a judgement against me for over $16000.00. I have spoken to American Express who agrees this is not my debt. and told me that Goldman Warshaw & Parrella should release me from this debt. They refuse to do this and told me I would have to sue them. My big problem is when Amex sold this debt they also sold all of the paperwork to prove anything and they will not release it to me. I know this is not legal. Some one please give me some advise on what to do here
Thanks

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
What your rights are as an additional cardholder.
AUTHOR: Ex Amex Employee - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, March 17, 2009
Even though you were only an additional cardholder on the acct...if those charges were done on your card number than they can hold you liable. Amex does have those records of where the charges came from, meaning which card number, but they can only tell it to the original cardholder. (Once that acct was cncld your name fell off) But if the chrgs were from your card they (the collection agency) does have grounds against you, sorry to say. The only thing you could do at this point is try to get amex to send you stmt copies to track chrgs or have the original cardholder call in for the stmts to find out exactly what card number had what balance. I wish you luck but with the economy like it is amex has become very tight with anything that may cause them to lose more money...even stmt copies.
