I entered an online contract with GovernmentAuction.com LLC in February 2024 to purchase a lot in California City. The company used broad landscape photos that were not of the actual lot and failed to provide basic zoning, access, and utility information when asked. I had to do my own research through Kern County to learn that the lot was undeveloped, had no utility access, and was surrounded by similarly vacant property. When I raised these issues and expressed my concerns about building on the property, their representative admitted in writing that it would not be in my best interest to build anything before the lot was fully paid off, and that if I defaulted, all improvements would revert to them. That was a major risk not clearly explained before signing. I requested cancellation based on misrepresentation, lack of transparency, and unreasonable limitations. While they canceled the contract, they kept my payment and dismissed my concerns. Their customer support responses were defensive and refused to take any accountability for the misleading nature of their listings. This was an unfair transaction that lacked good faith. I hope this post prevents others from entering into speculative contracts without full disclosure. -

Anytime you buy anything you need to do your due diligence before you buy anything. If you had, you would have known in advance about all the restrictions .

ANYBODY CAN SEE THE DOMAIN ENDS IN A "DOT COM". ANYBODY WITH HALF A BRAIN KNOWS any government entity is NOT going to have such a domain, it would be "DOT GOV". They very CLEARLY and very OBVIOUSLY told you by their domain they were a DECEPTION which you very gladly went along with. No you come here to cry, whine and stomp your feet because they screwed you over and of course it's all their fault, isn't it???,
