Grand Crowne Resorts - Grand Crowne Travel Network - Surrey Vacation Resorts - Grand Crowne Leisure Ripoff, Almost a Year Later, Tired and Frustrated, This Senior Citizen Wants My Money Back! Branson Missouri

Update - I wrote to Sherry Carpenter at Grand Crowne Resorts in Branson, MO on November 27, 2006 and never received anything back from them concerning the return of our money. They offerred our contract 50502-7 into a timeshare purchase for no additional cost.

I believe it was for 11 weeks only and a 1 bedrm), which means that each week costs approximately $808 a week, as we paid $8,884 cash in September 2004. This does not sound fair to us. No mention was made about our family use for the next 11 years. Where do we go from here?

Since we are in our 70's now it would probably be our family that may get the best use. We left those names with them. Thank you Rip-off for your help so far in this matter. Please adivse!

The original complaint, which Grand Crowne received stated that they believed they had purchased a timeshare with our company, even though ALL the paperwork they signed indicated they purchased a Network Membership. To comply with their understanding, the company did offer to re-write their membership contract into a timeshare purchase for no additional monies. AT NO TIME did our company indicate to these individuals that the Timeshare ownership would only be an 11 year ownership. A Timeshare is a deeded property that is yours for your lifetime and can be willed to future generations. To date, they have not replied to the company's offer with a decision
