In October of 05 we were also taken for 2,500.00 for a worthless membership to the travel network. They opened us a Mastercharge card account to pay for it in 6 months with no interest, which we did. We got caught up in the notion that it was an investment for our future when we travel, as we are nearing retirement age. We quickly learned this membership was of no real advantage to us and never would be. They said you could sell it on E- bay, but, e-bay does not allow the sale of travel memberships. If we could sell it, there is a 250.00 fee to the transfer the tittle to someone else, so we're cancelling it. They told me they had many satisfied customers. It is sad to see the beauty of the ozarks tarnished by this unethical organization, who can never quite explain how the travel network works. If they could, no one with an average or above average income would ever buy into it. Grand crowne is just an exspensive travel agency...the very thing they tell you they are helping you avoid.

Thank you Robert for your concerns about the membership you purchased with Grand Crowne. Our records indicate that you have never contacted our Travel Center to request or book any type of travel. However, Grand Crowne does have a Member Services department, which you have spoken to on many occasions. They attempted to assist you with understanding your membership and its many benefits, while you were yelling at them. Grand Crowne does have over 80,000 members who are satisfied and use their memberships. We apologize that this membership did not work for you and want you to know that your membership was cancelled at your request.
