December 2012 we were staying at the Villa Del Palmar.  We went on a tour of Land's End.   It was a beautiful resort and with an outstanding salesman, we went decided to discuss it with him.  We were not going to buy, in the beginning, but supplied with multiple bottles of champagne and the smooth talking of David Corte, we said okay to a studio every other year.  Where do we sign.   We purchased, what we thought, was a studio at Land's End every other year.

In November 2012 when we went to the resort to stay for the first time, we used Developer Weeks.  We paid, for the two Developer weeks $875.00 each for the master suite at Land's End.   At that time we upgraded our membership to a one bedroom and paid what shows on the excel spread sheet.

When upgrading, we found out that we had purchased for Playa Grande.  What a shock.  We had trusted your salesman and company to be honest.  That began our efforts to find out what happened and we found we had been screwed and were stuck, but now with a one bedroom at a place we hadn't seen or been before.

At that time we were still unaware of the grossly overpayment that had been made in the purchase of the studio.  As you can see, the cost was $5,000.00 and we paid over $9,394.87 in cash and a vehicle.

Today I decided to do a spread sheet and realized how badly we had been taken.  I was not going to complain being sure nothing would be done to rectify this if I did complain, until now.  Now I am insisting this be looked into and rectified.

I am now complaining that your company extorted $4,394.87 from me and I want that money refunded or to be used for the yearly maintenance fee.

The maintenance on the studio was $570.00.  We just received our maintenance fee for $844.95, which I believe that is incorrect as we are paying maintenance for a one bedroom at Playa Grande, more than a few steps down from Land's End.  Also, the maintenance for the master suite at Land's End was only $875.00.

If you are not the person who can handle this for me, please forward it to whoever that may be and let me know, immediately, what is going to be done about this situ

It is always best to hire someone skilled to do so, unfortunately in most cases these companies dedicated to cancel timeshares usually cheat for the second time to their customers since they are vulnerable and desperate. If you are thinking of hiring them you just have to make sure you do not have to make any payment upfront ... I found these articles that speak precisely about this, you should read them, that might help you to resolve many doubts:
