Greenbrier International - Dollar Tree Ripped baggy rip-off Chesapeake Virginia
*Consumer Suggestion: Please tell Dollar Tree this, directly

I bought two packages of zip top baggies at the Dollar Tree store in my town, and when I started using them I found they had splits beneath the zipper, making them totally useless.
I thought maybe it was only the first few bags but after finding the next ones had the same defect, I took all of them out of the box and found every one to be defective.
Out of curiosity I opened the second box and found all the baggies in that box had the exact same defect.
I realize it is only two dollars but I just wanted to make the company aware of this.

Since this is for consumers and not retailers, we read this, but they don't. I hope you did two things: a)emailed or called Dollar Tree's number that is on the bottom of the receipt, and b)went back to the store and asked for a refund or an exchange. That is the way they'll know that their manufacturer supplied who knows how many defective products.

As I said in my original complaint, it's only two dollars, so not a big deal, I just felt I should let the company know about it.
While the points you made are indeed valid, this is really the first time I have had an issue with anything I bought there at the Dollar Tree that I felt was worth reporting.
I have been completely satisfied with other items I have bought, and yes I do rejoice over getting things for a dollar!
In the grand scheme of things, my complaint is probably insignificant, but it felt good to report it anyway. have a wonderful day!

You DO realize that businesses LIKE Dollar Tree are buying BROKEN or DAMAGED product. HOW do you think they get to offer the SAME item at a DEEPLY discounted price?? YOU are buying what is known as FACTORY SECONDS!!! Meaning these products were found to be faulty for some reason and instead of losing money the parent company sells this item to a store LIKE Dollar Tree. YOU are going there expecting CHEAP but in order for it to BE cheap, THEY are buying BROKEN and DAMAGED merchandice. And YOU are gobbling it all up. YOU ARE BUYING TRASH and YOU are smiling all the time about it. The COST of buying factory seconds or "Outlet" items is that sometimes you get a REALLY broken or defective item. Yes money is tight which is WHY you go to places like Dollar Tree. But you CANNOT expect the same level of product quality when you are buying from those types of businesses. Its just NOT going to happen. Think about it for a few mins and even YOU can see the logic. EVERYTHING being made by automation, products being damaged or screwed up BY the same automation, and a market where these companies can sell what amounts to thier TRASH and the consumer just eats it up.
