To begin with..it was late morning on New Years Eve and we, found a wrangler online on their site and called on it, the woman on the phone verified it was available and told us come in that eve at 6pm, we do and the vehicle was not there, our salesman Lindy Jeffcoat told us it was getting repaired off-site and would be back in a week so we test drove another wrangler they had for sale. We liked it, worked a deal and they came back saying it had too high miles to finance but the good news was the numbers were based on the one we came to look at originally and we could get that one, they assured us it was like new, pristine, and would be a smooth ride once fixed even though they said they didnt know what was being fixed! He assured me the deal would not be final until I drove it and was happy with it as we were purchasing it for me. So, they are Really, Really RUSHING us at this point as it was New Years Eve and we were the last people in there. So we sign, they let us take to high mileage jeep as a loaner until ours is fixed. Get home, the ad is still on my computer and immediately notice there was a 1800 price diff from the internet price to the contract numbers, they had an excuse saying it was a bank fee!!! I argued and they finally met about halfway. So the following Thursday eve they call to say mine was ready and could be picked up Friday, I was going after work to get it but my husband wanted to surprise me, goes during lunch and delivers it to my job.  Well  I immediately called my salesman, there was NO interior carpet at all, the antenna was missing, the center console was missing, the fog lights in the online pics were missing, the tires & rims were toast, they put in $10 worth of gas and  it was NOT even touched on the inside, it had grease on the seats, steering wheel, the dash was never cleaned, and the vehicle had NO AC as it came from UT and the front end shakes with death-wobble, wow, did they see me coming.   This dealer SUCKS!!!!  They are fighting me tooth and nail to get the shaking fixed and will not budge on any of the missing items except the antenna!! whoo-h*o, They said bring it in , they will align it, I do and it still shakes and pulls to the right, they said it needs new tires and rims, I told them I just bought $1500 in tires & rims and do not want them torn up that the vehicle has serious front end issues, they send me back to service, infinite run around, service says they do NOTHING other than what they tell them to do, so parts may be bad but they do not check if not told.  They get told to and tell me I need a steering dampener and would order me floor mats but would not order fog lights. We bring it back, they put on the steering dampener, do another  alignment, still shakes, still pulls to the right and the work order says floor mats were declined!!!  OMFG!!!  I am sooooo over doing business with these liars, they are crooks!!DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS; THEY ARE SUPER FRIENDLY....UNTIL YOU SIGN!!!  Then you are not worth their time.  THEY SUCK!!

Lemon Law does NOT apply to used vehicles

AUTHOR: Anonymous observer - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 15, 2012

The Lemon Law in Florida will not help this unfortunate person.

Lemon Laws only apply to NEW vehicles.  They only apply for the first 24 months of ownership.  You can only get relief from the Lemon Law if the issue affects a SAFETY ISSUE with the vehicle.  (For example, you can't get a refund on a broken air conditioner or power window.)

If you have a safety issue (bad transmission, steering system for example) you have to make five attempts to get it repaired.  (No big deal as this would all be covered under the manufacturers new car warranty.)  You have to keep records of all repair attempts.  If they safety issue is not repaired, then they ARE REQUIRED to take the car back and refund all your money.

Ever wonder what happens to a Lemon Law car?  Well, what is SUPPOSED to happen is that the car is returned to the manufacturer, where their people take is apart to determine exactly what the problem is.  Any information learned is used to prevent the problem in the future... then the Lemon Law car is DESTROYED and NOT RESOLD.

Here's the problem.  Some scum-bag dealers will NOT return the Lemon to the manufacturer, but they will "fix it" and resell it as a used car.  This is where buyers of late model used cars must be careful.  You must look at the title of the car... if it says "LEMON LAW" (called a branded title) do NOT buy it!

Rule #1

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, January 26, 2012

IF A CAR DEALER'S LIPS ARE MOVING, HE'S LYING.  "Called it pristine and like new". See above rule #1. "He is going to fix all our issues, Thank You Alvaro". REALLY see above rule #1.  They've been lying to you since the women told you the vehicle was available and haven't stopped since. Let's list the lies. Women told you vehicle was available, tried to sell you a high mileage vehicle, told you it was in pristine and like new condition, didn't know what was being repaired, assured you the deal wouldn't be final until you drove it and was happy with it, jacked the price up $1,800,  and the best one of all, he's going to fix all our issues. The vehicle either belonged to a kid or was a rental. Hopefully it hadn't been wrecked. The hard to believe part is you bought the vehicle sight unseen. Good luck.

Greenway...Orlando's #1 Dealer For FRAUD!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 25, 2012

Like the others, I will strongly take issue with you over how you handled this. You played exactly and directly into their hands. However, no matter what you did, you were dealing with what has become Orlando's headquarters for FRAUD and DECEPTION. Greenway and its owner FRANK FRODRIGUEZ are noted for false advertising, bogus fees and on and on. There's no "bank fee". Its 100% FRAUD. The smell of the place and the smell of the people who work there is unbelievable. Do not ever, ever, ever do what you did again...both in how you handled the transaction and going to any Greenway dealership. The SMELL of fraud and deception can kill you. And don't for one second trust the BBB "rating" they have. They BOUGHT it like you can buy a phoney college degree on line.

SPREAD THE WORD!

GREENWAY and its slimey, pond scum, dirt balls are PURE stench!

So we sign "

If you sign, the deal is final.  The entire purpose of signing a sales contract is to finalize the deal.   At the point you signed, you'd bought a used Jeep that you'd never seen.

What?

AUTHOR: Ashley - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 25, 2012

Did you seriously sign a contract for a vehicle without even SEEING it? Unless your state has a lemon law you are pretty screwed. Never ever ever sign a contract for a used vehicle without seeing it, driving it, and having a mechanic check it out. You can talk to a lawyer, but honestly I think you are just screwed.
