Greg Lavaty (Thomas Gregory Lavaty Jr.) went to eHarmony and contacted me on 02/14.2022. After two months of talking, he dated me in Houston, and I drove from Austin to see him for the first time, but he disappeared. Then he reappeared after almost 2 years. We met each other 8 times or so but 6 times of the eight he came also to take the cash for luxury trips for birding. The first trip was to Lower Riogrande Valey (on the US side of the US - Mexico border), the second trip was to Mexico, and the last one was to Costa Rica. I paid him $400/day plus restaurant food and tips on average. It turned out that he did not have 20 years of experience in birding photography, and he did not teach me about it but abused me sexually and financially.

Rather than keep the promise to give me all of his "attention," he bullied me for only one piece of cookie I ate when I got hungry on the trip, yet he used my credit card to buy it. The room was agreed to be a private room, and I paid in full; he paid for only one room with two beds and then called me over, but I refused. I told him I did not do it with love, and if he loved me, he had to say something clearly and come to me. I do not accept the confusing signal! We took turns seeing each other, but he finally disappeared again because he told me he had a house in Houston, but he had none while I was trusting him and agreed to buy a home with his name on the title in Houston. He also asked me to give him fine jewelry to take home in Sugar Land to take pictures for online listings, and I refused since he has no experience in gemology or making fine jewelry. I am not confident giving him that listing jewelry job unless he works side-by-side with me. 

He asked me to help market his business, and I put my heart and soul into it. I gave him a cell phone for personal and business use to start our love journey. Instead, he pulled out to video porn, and when I found out, he begged to have "something very special between us," in which he made me numb and did not know what to do!

After almost 3 years, he disappeared again with my cell phone and the porn videos he made without a word. When I pushed for the answer, thinking he might have had an accident, he asked for the termination of our relationship on June 11. 2024. On June 13, 2024, I terminated the AT&T service that I paid for that cell phone since Jan 1, 2024 (6 months) and requested the return of my properties, but he gave me a silent answer till I told him I would come to his mom's house where he lived with his sister. He did not have a home! He still lives with his mom and sister despite being 50 years old! I told him the content in my cell phone that he misused for original purpose is my utmost concern. 

He said he pushed the button to film so the porns are all his, and when I told him I would sue, he said he gave the phone away first for Goodwill Internationally in Mexico, then later said to a homeless in Mexico. I must sue him in Fort Bend County Precinct 3 and wait for a court date. His response to the court was that he gave it away to a Goodwill on Highway 6, Houston, Texas. 

He has taken my livelihood away because every time I think about the use of these videos to mastubate himself, I feel very insulted. Moreover, every time I think about the porn videos would distribute everywhere on the internet, I am mad for being robbed of my dignity.

Today, I checked; instead, he is an educated individual (he has PhD degree). He has a criminal record of theft of as little as $20-$200!

I filed a civil case in Fort Bend County Precinct 3, and the case number is 24-JSC31-01132.
