 Former employee. I personally witnessed a mechanic take a good part from a customer car which was in the shop waiting for unrelated repairs and use it to try to repair another customer car. This employer regularly attempts to charge employees back for service dept expenses, whether warranted or not. These are illegal in Illinois without the employee's express consent at the time of the chargeback. I was unlawfully terminated for refusing to authorize several chargebacks to me for mistakes made by an incompetent Audi tech. When I refused to authorize these chargebacks and was terminated they went ahead and illegally charged me anyway, which is theft. When I threatened a lawsuit they quickly repaid me. Months later I now get a bill in the mail for several chargebacks, including at least one invoice which is dated for after I was unlawfully terminated. I am in the process of procuring legal counsel to sue them for this illegal and unethical behavior.
