Grosvenor Casino Newcastle has a nice little scam going on in their carpark. The car park uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition(ANPR) cameras to monitor the car park on entry and exit of the carpark grounds, issuing tickets.

There is no adequate warning about these cameras or fines on the signs as you enter the carpark. So if you happen to drive in there by accident, park up and sunddenly realise what you've done, then drive out again, then your hit with a £100 fine.

This must be a nice little earner for the casino and Parking Eye who run this little scam operation and we all thought you only got ripped-off at the table.
