I had a binded home insurance policy with Gufstream Insurance, which I paid in full and has been in effect for a few months.

I just receieved a letter from Gulfstream demanding an additional $254 paid to them within the next 10 days because they decided to just change my policy. In addition, they have increased the deductables on the policy as well.

I now have the choice of being extorted out of money on a policy that barely covers anything, or go uninsured. I've found other complaints of Gulfstream using similar bait and switch predatory insurance tactics so it looks like they do this frequently.
