WE CALLED THEM ON A FRIDAY EVENING AS OUR AIR CONDITIONER WAS NOT WORKING. THE OWNER ASKED IF WE CAN WAIT UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING TO REPAIR AND WE WONT BE CHARGED FOR OVERTIME. HE CAME SATURDAY AND DIDNT HAVE THE PART TO REPAIR. TOLD US HE'D COME BACK AND ALSO WONT BE CHARGED OVERTIME. THEN WE RECEIVED A BILL FOR OVERTIME AND A QUOTE TO COME BACK AND FIX WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE FIXED WHEN HE CAME OUT. SO NOW WE ARE GOING TO BE CHARGED TWICE BECAUSE HE DIDNT HAVE THE PART. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!! MORE SLIPPERY THAN AN EEL!!

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Misunderstanding
AUTHOR: David Hahn - ()
SUBMITTED: Monday, December 22, 2014
In response to the claims made against Hahn's I would like to set the record straight because "I" was the technician on call. I did receive a call from Mr. Fried that his A/C was not working. Being sick and the only technician available to take call, I asked Mr. Fried if he could wait until the morning and would reduce the cost from $149 to $89. I showed up Saturday morning, and found a factory wiring harness had melted inside of the Trane air handler. I bypassed the plug connection and got the system up and running. Mr. Fried did ask if I wanted to collect and told him I did not feel like filling out any paperwork and just wanted to get back to the house due to being sick.
We quoted repairs, and the office did bill the $149.00 after hours diagnostic. Given no paperwork was filled out by me, and size of our company this was overlooked because no one knew in the office what I had said. Repairs were quoted on the service ticket for $436.57 which included a new complete heat strip assembly, and wiring harness which is more than just a "Plastic Plug".
After speaking with Mr. Fried, explaining all the parts, we did resolve the issue after it was brought to my attention. On 8/30 we installed the new heat strip assembly, and wiring harness for the original quoted price.
Mr. Fried did try to remove the post after everything was explained but this website has refused to do so. Now, if I want to take this in front of their panel for "Arbitration" I can do so for a fee of $2,000.
Below is paragraph from Ripoff. "How the VIP Arbitration Process Works"
As explained in the Program Rules, the process begins when you provide Ripoff Report with three things: 1.) a signed copy of the Arbitration Agreement; 2.) a complete copy of your Arbitration Statement including any and all supporting evidence, such as documents or Witness Statements (subject to limitations which are discussed in detail in the Program Rules) you want the Arbitrator to review; and 3.) a check for the $2,000 arbitration fee. No arbitration matter will begin until we receive all of these things".

The owner called me and there was a misunderstanding. The owner assured that everything is going to be resolved and it will be taken care of shortly.
