Ok,

I am not sure who you are or what horse you bought from Hannah Koch but I could not disagree more. I used to be neighbors with Hannah and never once saw horses that were not cared for. In fact I know her farrier and know that he comes out on a regular basis because I too got my horses feet done at the same time she did hers.

I know for a fact those horses get plenty of food and water. I can honestly say I have NEVER seen ANY of their horses not get enough food/water. They feed and water their horses daily, I know this because I always see them out there doing so.

Lies when selling her horses.... I bought a paint from them just awhile back. They let me test him out several times and even brought me on a trail ride so I could see what he was like on the trail. I got ALL coggins/prior vet history/papers on him. I bought him and after a month I was not clicking with this horse. I called up Hannah and told her my situation. Within an hour she was at my house. She worked with me and my horse for a long while. After working with him and seeing we did not click she immediently bought him back from me. I told Hannah I still wanted a horse and to let me know if she found anything that would suite me better. Later she called and said she had a quarter horse at her house that I could come and try. I did and fell in love with her. I decided to buy her. AFTER once again trail riding, riding multiple times, ect. Since my purchase of this horse I have had NO problems with her. She is a great horse and everything that Hannah told me was honest and true about her. She did not try to hide anything. Might I add that I also got papers/previous vet history and coggins with her.

I think this report is false. Hannah and her family are good horse people that love and respect horses AND respect the PEOPLE buying the horses.

I would never question their intentions when it comes to selling a horse.

Contradicting

I personally have done business with Hannah and find your story very contradicting to my experience. They did an excellent job disclosing ALL of the horses history and abilities based on what they knew about the horse.

I think you are forgeting that they didnt raise this horse and can only tell you about their personal experience with the horse and what the previous owner disclosed to them. I have bought and sold several horses over the years as my goals and abilities have changed and I always keep in mind what Bob Avila tells people when hes selling a horse; this is what I can make the horse do, I have no idea if you will be able to get the same results and will not guarentee that. I disclose everything I know about the horse but that doesn't mean how they behave for me will be the same for a new rider.

It is the resposiblity of a buyer to ask the right questions, know their own abilities and be able to determine if this horse will be the right fit; if you dont know those things, get proffessional help! There are plenty of trainers and brokers that can help sift through prospects or refer you to the right seller.

As far as the vet records goes I never depend on what a seller says they have done/given a horse, thats the reason for vet checks. Would you buy a car that someone says they have all up to date on maintenance and get mad when it needs a filter changed?

What each seller classifies as kid broke is going to be vastly different, its strictly a matter of opinion if they think the horse is suitable for a child and again it should be up to the parent to decipher if their own child will be able to handle the horse. Horses are animals, they can be unpredictable, they aren't robots and they will not behave perfectly all of the time. Even my best show horses have their days, thats just the way it goes.

I dont think its fair to drag someones name through the mud over a discrepancy between opinions. *Buyer beware when it comes to anilmals*
