I had a financial hardship last year and called all my credit cards to make deals with them while I was generating no income. I am a single mother and I was putting food and shelter for my child over credit card payments. Again, I had no income. HC Credit assured me they would give me a three-month "hardship" monthly amount of $45 instead of $130 minimum monthly payment and they would not charge me interest for this. I lved up to my end of the bargain. They did not. I have, in less than one year, been charged an addition $1300 on a $4000 balance which had already been paid down to $3000. So basically they charged me 40% - 50% interest, when they told me they would not charge any. BEWARE!!!!

Seriously?

You don't think that the two events might be connected?     You're quite the piece of work.

For the record, I have long advocated on this site that borrowing money on a credit card is one of the worst financial decisions one can make.     If you think I'm a credit card cheerleader, you're barking up the wrong tree.

On the other hand, I know very well how the system works.  Your posts of today, taken individually, would not make much sense (i.e. different banks doing exactly the same thing for no reason).    This post, however, cleared up the mystery for most readers.

  Thanks for playing.

I don't take your posts seriously either. Clearly you side with credit card companies over individuals. Wow. Just...wow. I did not write when these situations occurred. Mind your own business. No need to respond. I don't speak to people like you, thus this will be it for me. You've in fact just wasted 5 minutes of my precious time I'll never get back.

In your other posts against Houshold and Citi, you claimed that they raised your card rates arbitrarily.   I suggest that perhaps this is the reason :

" I had a financial hardship last year and called all my credit cards to make deals with them while I was generating no income.  "

I'm not sure how seriously anyone should take your posts.
