HealthMarkets-The Texas Mafia

Amen to that brother! We always referred to them up here as the good ol' boys Texas Mafia. They take care of their own and are magicians at COVERING UP any wrongdoings. Have a team of attorneys who can make it all go away. All the way up the food chain. Agents are the real losers in this scam because they fork out the "start up fees" which includes a box of JUNK "pretend" insurance. Unsuspecting customers are told they are getting real insurance when in fact it is a flimsy "discount plan" which covers nothing.
They have even hired a company to help "clean up" their image online so that when you try to google the HM name...none of the bad stuff comes up.
Hopefully the TRUTH about this Pyramid Scam company will be their ultimate demise. Go Obama!! Get your healthcare system in place and get these bigoted southern fried predators off the streets!

I have seen many people helped by this company! I am not going to remain silent! This company does the right thing by the consumer 100% of the time. We work hard as agents to provide professional and honest customer service to our clients! Take the time to do the real research through the California Department of Insurance, that is where you will find the real details of EVERY insurance company:) Do the real homework !

Lipstick on a PIG

Yes, it is another name change! They may be a subsidary of the original HealthMarkets, but if you look at the web site, there is absolutly no mention of HealthMarkets. None of the executive profiles show any relationship to Healthmarkets, even though Hildebrand is the current CEO of HM, Heller has worked for HM 15+ years, Chandra is also a HM executive. If they are not trying to hide or shield this, then why is this being covered up?
As they begin to become just another insurance broker, they will no longer aggressively market the HM products, as they are not competitive with some of the new products. Without the captive agents forced to sell their products, HM will dry up and go away. Be careful in signing up for coverage or taking a job with HM.
