Helping Hands. Ministry. I tried to stop a payment to a company that has been deceiving me, and I have waited for sense 10/8/16 to get the money back, and I get a letter stating that they refuse to reimburse me the 289.00 dollars that I'm out. Who do they work for me or the Company that has been deceiving me? San Antonio Texas

 On10/08/16 I filed a stop payment order with Direct Express MasterCard services, Because the payment was to a company that deceived us. And I have been waiting for about 60 days for them to reimburse the money back to my card and I got a letter yesterday 12/02/16 saying that they can't reimburse me the 289.00 $ dollars that I'm out! And I live on SSDI ONLY and need every penny just to survive. Who do they work for anyway, me or the company who has been deceiving me for six months?

 THEY work for themselves and NOT YOU!!!Just because YOU are a customer doesnt mean that YOU get to change your mind about a LAWFUL payment. Which is the only way they will NOT give you money back. YOU CLAIM you have been decieved, yet THEY havent given the money back. WHich probably means that YOU signed a contract of some sort that the company YOU CLAIM has decieved YOU can show to YOUR card ppl. Perhaps YOU should have read that contract BEFORE you signed it. While Im 100% sure YOU THINK you have been decieved are YOU 100% sure you HAVE!!! Is it an issue of YOU just not understanding? Did they rob you of something?? Was a service to be provided that YOU did not recieve? I ask these questions because its VERY EASY to jump to conclusions based on either LIMITED INFORMATION or LIMITED UNDERSTANDING!!

Did you wait too long to file for the return of your money? I know CC companies have a time limit on that. Did you ask them why they weren't refunding your money?  BTW: why were you, someone on disability, sending a charity money?
