High Priority Movers Customer service was horrible and they did damage to the door frame. Fl
*Consumer Comment: They are a brand new moving broker as of April 2018
The movers took 9 hours to move a a less than 1000 sf 1 bedroom house. They had to pack no boxes. Showed up in flip flops and one of the guys was on his phone every 5 minutes, they shoved the side by side fridge out the front door and broke the glass screen door frame, and cracked regular door frame.
They dropped the fridge, rolled the furniture out the door instead of picking it up. They then left their personal stuff that was on the truck in the front yard for us to dispose of! And they didnt get all the stuff on the truck. High Priority is a moving broker, I would stay away and run the other way from them.

There is no reason to hire a moving broker. It costs you more money and you have no idea who you are actually getting to move you stuff.
The best way to check them out is to go to the movers website and copy their DOT number. Enter it into Federal data base for Carrier Safety in the Licensing and Insurance section and pull up the information for that DOT number. It tells you what you need to know.
Stay away from moving brokers unless you like to pay more for nothing. Contact actual movers. Have them come to your place and give you a written binding quote. Don't do this online. Don't do this over the phone. That is how so many people get ripped off.
This particular moving broker just started this business in April 2018. The thing is, they never disclosed on their own website that they are moving brokers so you know that they are dishonest just from the front page of their website.
I'm not blaming you because most people won't know that moving brokeres exist and that they don't do anything that you can't do with a tiny bit of research and save yourself hundreds to thousands of dollars.
