Do not go to high tech school of phoenix or there sister school Bryman. I went to school there one semester and dropped out because of family matters. because i entered the second semester by 2 weeks they billed me for the entire fee of the course. total of 9,000.

this school is known to get the native american population to come to there schools. and the govement pays for the schooling and if the student drops out or fails the school has all of the money no refund to any one .

Would you like some cheese with that Whine ?

I would like to start out by saying, can you name one private college in the united states that would allow you to take "TWO WEEKS" of their class without charging you for the entire class ? Even at a state university after your in the class so many days that's it, you cant drop the class and get even a partial refund.

The other thing that I dont understand is the comment about Native americans, and the money issued to the school by the government. Are you stating a fact ? or is this what you heard ? I dont think the government is going to fork out 20 grand to a school for a student who was there 2 weeks, and dropped out, and not try to get their money back ? I seriously doubt it.

I graduated there in 2000, and I agree that there is a lot of room for improvement, for numerous thing's, instructor turnover, Quality of labs, and the quality of the courses. However I can sit hear and compalin all day long. The fact is, when I started going to school at High-Tech I was making $7.00 an hour, and barely knew how to turn a computer on. It has now been 6 years, and I now make 40 k, as a technical consultant for a network operations center. Im not rich, but at least now im moving forward. People need to "RESEARCH" schools before signing anything.

I graduated from the HTI A.S. program for CAD.

My girlfriend graduated the A.S. program for Surgical Technologist. We are both gainfull employed after being placed. Our combined income was 106,000 for 2004. These schools are very upfront about all of their policies, anyone who say's they aren't wasn't paying attention. Anyone can whine about why they can't do something. Has any of these whiners utilized the full resources of the school? I can't believe this. They should call this the "professional victims area"

I have enjoyed the program at HTI

AUTHOR: Timothy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 30, 2003

I currently attend High Tech Institute in Phoenix, AZ. This is an expensive school, but they were very clear about their drop/quit policies. After the first week of class of the semester 75% refund, the amount of the refund lowers to 50%, 25% and then to zero the further along in the semester you are.
My program costs $24,000
12K for the second semester times .75=$9,000

So the amount you stated seems in line with their stated policy.

I have enjoyed the program at HTI and I am less than 4 months til completion. My only complaint about them is the maturity level of some students.

I will also forward a copy of this to HTI for their review.
