HOBBIES DISCOUNT The Shark Didn't Bite this Christmas - Hobbies Discount FAILS to Deliver Floating Sharks as Promised Vancouver, BC Canada Internet

On November 28, 2016 I saw Hobbies Discount's Facebook ad featuring a Air Swimmers Remote Control Flying Shark. I thought this would be perfect to two boys on our Christmas list. I placed my order and received an order confirmation on Dec. 1, 2016 advising that I would receive my order in 14 to 21 days. They charged my VISA that same day. I thought although 21 days would be cutting it close for Christmas I was pleased to have found the product as the Shark was totally unique. On Dec. 21 I realized that the Sharks had yet to arrive. I logged onto the website to find a phone number or a way to contact Hobbies Discount. Nothing. I went to their FB page and sent a message as well as Twitter. The website had my order "in process" - after 24 days...the message I received back told me that I would have my order "very soon."  I advised that this was truly disappointing as I planned on having the sharks for Christmas.  No response. Yesterday, Jan. 2, 2017 I logged on to the website only to see that my order was "in transit" as of Dec. 23, 2016. There is no tracking information, not a hint of delivery dates and no further information. I called VISA to dispute the charges advising I believe I have been scammed and that Hobbies Discount is a fraudulent company.  I messaged them again with no timely response. I found ripoffreports.com when I googled a way to contact the company. There are several reports about their bad business practices as well as disappointed consumers like me.
