Home Advisor Taylor Nicholson, salesman, signed me up. I started getting leads immediately, not knowing that I would have to pay for them, even if I did not get any work. They charged me a one year membership fee of $287.99 and the 10 leads I received cost me $309.31. Golden, CO 80401

They did not give me a refund for either one. I told them the cost of the leads (which were not high quality ) ,gave me great stress, and loss of peace of mind and it was starting to affect me physically. They said. They refused to give me any refund, when I cancelled on Aug 6 2019.

I felt mislead and was shocked when they told me I must pay for the leads, even if they do not bring me work. The cost of the leads gives me " great stress", because I do not a have a high income. I have a low income. They said I still have to pay ,even if I cancel.

I am required to pay membership fees of $287.99  and was shocked when I received a bill of $309.31 for 10 leads which did not bring me any income.  I was sent leads immediately before I could really get to get used to their  website and did not even have the time to add reviews of the few people that I had.

I was expecting the leads to be free until I acutally got  some work. I requested that they cancel me aon Aug 6 2019. They said that would not be done until the fees were paid. I was offered three -free leads, but it would require me to reactivate my account.  I have no desire to do that.

But I'm willing to bet pretty much any amount of money that you agreed to pay for the leads and there was no guarantee they would result in profit for you.  And please don't come back with "they told me over the phone" nonsense- what does the actual, signed agreement say?  Don't have one?  Then you're out of luck.

BTW, this will sound heartless, but your income level is immaterial here.  Obviously you have a low income, or you would not have gone in for an "offer" like this which is only the subject of roughly 3 million YouTube videos.  Your stress level doesn't matter, either- of course you're stressed- you tried to use money to make money, and only ended up poorer.

That would stress out anyone.  But it doesn't have anything to do with the facts of your case.  I'm quite certain that you'll find in the small print that profits aren't guaranteed (if they were, there would be no reason to hand them off to you or anyone else, the seller would just keep them and use them, isn't that just obvious?)
