On the loan I got from them, I had a locked in 9% interest rates. Was part of special package deal on getting some windows installed in my house if I did all the windows. After we got everything done and started getting the bills, the interest rate was changed to 12%. And for the past 7 years i've tried to refinance the loan to get a lower interest rate but HomeEq has some sort of special deal that don't alow me to refinance. All the other loan companies were willing to refinance that second morgage untill they found out it was HomeEq, then they all backed out.
