I am writing to formally file a complaint against HomeLove Movers regarding the extensive damage incurred during my recent move, as well as the company’s complete failure to respond to my repeated attempts at communication via email, phone, and text regarding these issues.

Summary of Issues:

During the moving process, nearly all household furniture was either damaged or completely destroyed due to improper padding and poor stacking within the cargo truck. It was evident upon delivery that the furniture was not secured properly, resulting in extensive damage. Despite multiple attempts to address these concerns directly with HomeLove Movers, I have received no response or acknowledgment of my complaints.

Details of Damages:

The following household items sustained significant damage:

  • Living Room Furniture – Couches, chairs, and tables suffered deep scratches, dents, and upholstery tears.
  • Dining Set – The table was badly scratched and chipped, and chairs were cracked or broken due to poor handling.
  • Bedroom Furniture – Bed frames, dressers, and nightstands were gouged, cracked, and in some cases, completely unusable.
  • Office Desk & Equipment – My desk sustained severe structural damage, and office chairs were torn and scuffed.
  • Appliances & Electronics – Improper stacking resulted in dents and potential internal damage to my washer, dryer, and other household electronics.
  • Decor & Miscellaneous Items – Mirrors, artwork, and shelving units arrived shattered or significantly damaged.

Negligence in Handling & Lack of Response:

  • The furniture was not properly padded or wrapped, despite assurances that professional care would be taken.
  • Heavy items were stacked on top of delicate furniture, leading to preventable structural damage.
  • My repeated attempts to contact HomeLove Movers via email, phone, and text have been completely ignored. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.
  • Photos and Receipts: Homelove Movers requested all photos and receipts for damaged items which were sent twice. We were told it would take 2 weeks for processing. 2 weeks has turned into 4 months with no response.

Resolution Requested:

I am requesting immediate action to address these issues, including:

  1. A formal response acknowledging the damage incurred.
  2. Compensation for the replacement or repair of the damaged items.
  3. A resolution plan to prevent similar incidents for future customers.

I've had no choice but to escalate this matter, including filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), consumer protection agencies, and relevant legal channels.
