This does not suprise me of the complaints.  I live in a community in Flowery Branch where Southern Heritage is building and they so far have built at least  12 townhomes so far within 2 years.  When building next to my townhome who I have spoken to the owner to back in 2017 is rude and unprofessional.  The people they hired are not vetted and are doing unsafe jobs by not wearing helmets etc.  I have even photos of the unsafe conditions.  I even called OSHA but they have to witness it first.    When Hurricane Issac came through with 60 plus winds back in 2017 I was afraid of the scaffold not being secured and hitting my house and the windows of the 4 houses next door  including patio door were open so there is no telling if there is mold. 

The contractors have disregard for residents by blocking residents driveway who live in the community and when the foreman I talked to recently was not very nice either andI  just recently caught them stealing electricity from another resident house.

As of today they have built another 4 in my subdivision and doing it every quickly without disregard of quality so it does not suprise me that there are complaints of shoddy work and taking so long for them to respond to get it corrected.  Yeah sure blame it on the contractors , but to me I do wonder the contrators they hire are even vetted and legal.  

When I bought my townhome 12 years ago before the housing crash, they did shotty work and it did take a while for them to get repairs done and yes blamed the contractor.  Actually I had water from the laundry pipe leaking and it was found out they staple gun the nails into 2 pipes and had to take part of the wall down. It goes to show you that by doing things too fast and trying to cut corners problems arise.

I am just waiting one day when a serious accident happens and or found out about the people working there gets shut down or heavily fined.

I highly be very cautious in buying from Southern Heritgage home builders.  If you go to BBB under Garen homes you will find the owner and then go to Gwinnett county courts under the owners name.  Yes he uses under different names of builders.
