charged over $2,000.00 for an extended auto policy that was to cover transmission problems and after taking my money apco corporation refused to provide coverage.

extensive verification of why the repair was needed and
what caused the transmission problem was provided by the mechanic, audi corp, and a lawyer who stated that the policy should cover the work under the terms of the policy.

what a rip off apco wants to take money for coverage but does not want to provide service when something happens. they want to point fingers and haggle.

The auto mechanic said he would go to court for me. Mr. Southerland put pressure on the insurance company and they paid.

This is an update to my complaint. The mechanic stated that he would go to court on this matter,if needed. The transmission work was explained to the adjuster from APCO on a 4 way call. The engineer and mechanic all agreed that the work should be covered per the terms of the contract. Now APCO is trying to tell me how much Audi transmission fluid should cost. Audi fluid cost more than other cars as it is suppose to be a lifetime fluid. When they sold me the coverage I paid extra because it was an Audi. Now APCO is compairing the work to other cars. Also the Arbitration administrator APCO lists in their contract is paid and advertised by APCO. The contract was to be peace of mind for non HONDA cars for another 2 years or 24000 miles what a joke I needed the repair in less than 2000 miles and 3 months. Now it has been a fight.

I used to do inspections for APCO as an Independent Mechanical Inspector, and I am familiar with their business practices. In order to give you a specific advise, I need to have more info. First of all, you should request the inspection report from APCO, and no matter how they hate to, if you are persistent enough they'll provide it. Also I need to see the exact text of your policy.
