Here it goes my review about this DISHONEST place they want people to know as "Honest Tom's". It is rather a long review but I owe it to myself and to those who will fall victims of this bad place and I am glad I am writing it.

On December 28, 2018 I went to this place at about 8:10 a.m. to have the front brakes (rotors and pads) replaced in order to pass the safety inspection which the car did not pass the day before. I sat there and waited...and waited...and waited, and after two & a half hours, realizing no one was working on the car for quite some time, I decided to ask a simple question: “What was the status on the car”, the response I got from the person whose name is BEN who claims to be the/a Store Manager – no business cards at sight to confirm it- was, "we are waiting on some parts”, and “we got the wrong ones".

Although I consider myself a VERY patient person, there are moments when you have to leave that aside and speak up. I went ahead and asked this BEN why no one had had the slightest gesture/common sense and basic respect and decency to inform that to me before, rather than having me wondering what was going on. I told him that they, as a whole business have to understand people set time aside to be there, time some don’t get paid for and that we all have things to do and no one like to waste time. Had someone told me it would take way longer than anticipated I would have either

1.) Requested a loaner car as I NEEDED to do other things as well,

2.) Keep waiting OR

3.) Take the car somewhere else. Long story short, this BEN got extremely defensive, I mean EXTREMELY, and said to me a few things in the heat of the argument, quote "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING WITH THIS...", "SHUT UP", "DUDE", "I DON'T WANT YOU TO KEEP TALKING", "MAKE SURE YOU WRITE MY NAME CORRECTLY WHEN WRITING A REVIEW AS I KNOW IT WON'T BE GOOD; and finally, to confirm his total lack of professionalism, despotism, cynicism and ARROGANCE, he said to me to "GET OUT OF MY STORE AND WAIT OUTSIDE UNTIL THE CAR IS READY", which I complied since it is not my business place, right after I told him to stop/cancel my service since I would take my car and my business somewhere else.

I had never encountered this ‘monstrosity’ before. Earlier I had seen the other gentleman who works at the counter alongside this BEN tell a previous customer if he (the customer) thought he (the other manager behind the desk) "LOOKED LIKE A STARBUCK", a reply to the customer's question related to the coffee they have there. BEN, on the other hand, prior to our unpleasant encounter, had already used foul language (a couple of the ‘f’ word as a result of some issues he seemed to be facing with the computer program they are using, right there while customers are sitting a few feet away!

Last but not least, I highly doubt this is as honest as they claim to be. The day before I had asked this BEN, how much would the labor be for the brake service plus the parts separately, and I could never get a straight answer from him, but a mere "we get everything as a package", REALLY? Which business does not break down the parts plus the labor and the tax as part of the bill customers pay? There are many businesses that are used and have gotten used to barely talk to customers and explain what the services being offered and price are as customers are just “willing” to pay any price without knowing what they are getting into. Businesses like this don’t think or care that people want to know what they are getting for their money. These businesses gets ‘annoyed’ when people ask them simple questions. “HONEST TOM’S” is a living proof!
