HonorSociety.org is an organization specializing in providing guidance to achieve the goal of exceptional students. The organization charges $50 for membership, which covers administrative costs to provide the student with support from the website and access to contacts. Leads are acquired through universities. At that point, an invitation is e-mailed to qualified students, directing them to the HonorSociety.org website where they’re able to watch an informational video and learn about the tools HonorSociety.org can provide. Once a student accepts the invitation, the team at the Honor Society explain the “the tangible steps for students to achieve their goals,” explains Ryan Evans, a representative of the company. The student then fills out a profile, pays the membership fee and is able to start receiving e-mails, redeeming benefits, and obtaining contacts for employers and scholarships.

At times, a student may not feel satisfied with the services they received. “One student asked for a refund, which was promptly given. [The Honor Society] has a no-questions-asked policy. The student did not feel that the Honor Society was a good fit for them since they had already graduated shortly after,” explains Mr. Evans. He further explains that this does happen from time to time. However, due to their no-questions-asked policy, refunds are promptly issued. Students are generally satisfied once this is done. “There is no further follow-up. The student tried the service, determined it wouldn’t work for their purposes and received their refund,” explains Mr. Evans.
