Hoosier Tradewinds Bouncing Checks stealing your hard earned money Arcadia, Indiana

I was told by another Owner Operator that I can contact you concerning a Trucking Company that is hiring Owner Operators and not paying them . This Company is Hoosier Tradewinds of Arcadia Indiana. DOT #666953.

We joined them in October 2010 and towards the end of November Thanksgiving time their checks started to bounce. This happened twice in November's pay period , I demanded from them that they start using there Automatic Deposit as promised in Orientation and Melissa Henshaw, the Payroll Account Clerk said that she would have to get this approved from Brian Cook the Owner of the Company and Head of Accounting before she could start doing this.

By having them do this , this changed the day we would be paid from Friday to Wednesday at Midnight. Which they did not tell me until I called them asking where was our money.

 And when that day rolled around they stop putting the money in the account all together. Then I had to start calling and begging them to deposit the money in our account. It got to where I would have to call my Creditors and tell them what was going on.

They also started charging my Husband for Shop repairs that did not happen. I would audit their Payroll Settlement Sheets and then request copies of the repairs they were deduction only to get a apology for their accounting errors. They I would have to demand reimbursement for those errors. They need to have a DOT AUDIT done . They need to be Shutdown.

 It has gotten to  when I had to have Surgery I did not have the money for the simple things just to prepare for the Surgery and I had to reschedule the Surgery, I got to where I had to Beg them to pay us money by crying over the phone to them that I needed the money to pay for the Surgery and with out the Money I may have health issues ..

This has stressed out my Husband so much that he give them Notice and worked out the rest of the notice . For that last week they would call him every day asking if he was going to keep the load or deliver it. As if they wanted him to do what they were doing to him so they would have a reason not to pay him.

 He final told them that just because they were not men of integrity doesn't mean he was the same way. He said that he was a man of his word and expected the same from them.

Unfortunate for us they are not.

They owe us for two week of pay and our escrow account. One of the weeks they owe is has already bounced, and the other checks they owe us have not arrived to the house.

When you look at there Website  www.tradewinds.net  they lead you to believe that they are a Christ Center Company and they us Billy Graham in there advertising to get drivers to believe that they are Christ like( SEE THERE WEBSITE, then look at  What is the Good News?)

I know that Christ is not about cheating people. I firmly believe that they are stealing not just from my Family for from Many Owner Operators that join their Company.


I want them stopped from  hurting another Owner Operator, I want to warn all the drivers and Owner Operators that are looking for better work to steer them clear of this Company. I am willing send you Documentation to back up what I am saying has happened to us.

PLEASE lead me to the Authorities that can stop these Thieves.
