We were having trouble paying our high interest mortgage.  Our lender suggested contacting the Hope for Home program to get help.  We filled out all the required paperwork and were told we qualified.  In a conference call with Roger, we learned how they would procede.

We would pay $833 for three month and then a larger amount for the nexed three months.  Since our Social Security checks only come on the fourth Wednesday of the month, we made arraingments to set a monthly due date on the 26th of the month.

We received a call on Tuesday from someone named Amy, that an agreement had been reached with our lender and proceeded inform us of the terms.  Starting April 20th, we were to pay over $1536  and continue paying that amount on the 20th of the month from then on.  I tried to explain to to her that the due date was too early; that our money wouldn't come for another week or so.  I asked if it could be changed to a later time.  She became very caustic in her attitude and told me it was the 20th or we would be kicked out of  the program and probably lose our home.  We believe this due date was negotiated on purpose to cause us to lose our home.

We are both in our seventies and in poor health.  We just don't know what to do!  They sent no representative to explain the papers we were signing; only a notary.  All we know is that Roger, Amy, and Monte lied about eveything.
