I ordered a $14.80 book from them which AUTOMATICLY entered me into a unwanted $29.95 monthly Book Club. It starts with a 7 day FREE membership.
1 Min. after the 7 days are up your Bank Card is charged $29.95 per month untill you cancel. Their marketing is Deceptive and Misleading.
You order the book under the name Hotbooksales.com then you receive a charge on your credit card from SmartSavings.com .
They don't ship the book till your 7 days are up and you don't catch the scam till it's too late to REVERSE the charges. I caught the scam 2 hours after the 7 days were up and they wouldn't REVERSE the charges.
Why would I knowingly order a $20 book for $14.80 and end up paying $45 for it and more if I didn't catch on in time to stop future charges.
Beware of them to all consumers.
