She was engaged to him when you two were together she is learning so much. She only wonders how many other women he was with. Wow....but he and I were childhood sweethearts off and on until 1991. We never had the chance to "date" or be a couple. He and I were intimate once(our first time and only time together because it didn't feel right for us-AND he did tell me he was seeing others at the time-2006) and I have been to the doctor for yearly exams since (including HPV, and STD testing because it it routine in her clinic to check those things), and I have had, since then, and currently, a clean bill of health....squeeky clean. Thank God!

My friend has cancer from his cheating ways. She found out recently that he was cheating on her with Ms. Walton. Ms. Walton is the person that he told her was MUCH too old for him. And he had been cheating with her for years.

I am actually, well was, an old friend of Mr. Crain. I have known him since 1983 and we were friends until early last year. He suddenly notified me that he could no longer be my friend because his life had become complicated. I know about the car because I rode in it. I know about Ms. Walton because he mentioned her name in conversations prior, and I know about the church he started because he told me about it. He failed to tell me everything else! It all makes sense now...I am in complete shock. No wonder why he never invited me over for dinner. No wonder why he was acting so strangely. I did buy a computer from him and it turned out to be a piece of junk. So many things were wrong but I just couldn't put my finger on it....until now! Thomas if you are reading this...How? Why?

At the beginning of the road
Lately, I have been looking into the mirror a lot. I have been checking to see if my dunce cap is straight. I also turn around to see how much of my derrire is still left after being taken in by the Reverend Thomas Crain and his Zephyr Marketing. There are a lot of us doing that in Ely. Rev. Crain was a master of salesmanship. He always had a bright positive air about him. Even now there are employees who have not been paid who still wish to support him. One wonders if we as a community should change our attitudes towards new business and outsiders?
I have always admired people who start new businesses. I have started several myself and know how hard it is. The fact is over 90% of all businesses fail in the first two years. That is not a good success rate. It is amazing anyone is foolish enough to try, yet it is the secret of our country's prosperity. Even with 90% failing, the other 10% manages to create wealth, jobs and security. My openness to someone who wants to start a business in Ely is the secret to my success in the leasing business, but it is, also, my weakness. It allows someone to come in and fail. It allows someone to leave me with bad checks. Whenever a business fails in Ely everyone talks about it. When one fails because of dishonesty and fraud it really gets talked about. It even rated a five minute TV report on KMSP in Minneapolis.

In a way I feel sorry for the Rev. Crain. Even though he owes me over $3,000 I liked his can-do attitude. I liked the fact that he wanted to create jobs and help our community. The ironic thing is that if he used his talents honestly he probably would be a success. Now he has to deal with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office, the Postal Inspector's Fraud Department in Minneapolis and eventually the IRS. His life is going to be very complex.

I found it odd last summer when Crain told me he did not have any friends in Minneapolis. Now I know why. He cannot afford to stay in one place for any length of time. That is the price of always using other people's money and possessions. What I have learned of Rev. Crain is that he has a long trail of unpaid bills.
I have seen people like this before. They outwardly act as sincere and honest people. Inwardly, they plot for every advantage they can get. Some call this the Clinton disease. President Clinton still does not understand the moral wrong he did with Monica. Just the other day Clinton stated that beating impeachment was one of his administra-tion's greatest accomplishments. I find that hard to understand. Where is the shame?

I feel sorry for all those who have been taken advantage of by Crain. I felt sorry to the small copier business in Minneapolis that leased Zephyr a copier and has not seen a payment in six months. They were very surprised to find their copier is now 240 miles away.

I feel sorry for the honest employees who were duped by Crain with his promises of high pay and big bonuses. A year from now it will be a faded memory, at least for those of us who are honest. We will move on. For Rev. Crain, it will probably be business as usual. He will move to another town, maybe another state and continue to do what he does best cheat people. What a pathetic life. He can never put down roots, never own a home, never know when someone will recognize him from the past, never have any long term friends.
Finally, I feel sorry for those that try to start a new business, because folks like Rev. Crain give entrepreneurs a bad name. Most people are basically honest. They may drive over the speed limit on the freeway or do some other small infraction that does not harm anyone.
Then there are the Rev. Crains who take advantage of human nature and our liberal laws on bad checks. They play the system like a harp from hell and can go for years without paying the piper. They know that it takes a mountain of evidence before any state attorney general's office actually takes legal action. I just find the price of no roots, no friends, and no family life, a life not worth living. There are many forms of wealth and Rev. Crain will find they cannot be bought with dirty money and bad checks.
I urge anyone who has been wronged by Rev. Crain, to complain loudly to the Attorney General's office. Write to: Mr. Don Donahugh, MN Attorney General Office, 102 State Capital, St. Paul, MN 55155. A call to the Department of Revenue would be a good idea. While you are at it, report him ...???????

He likes to wash his hands alot, and washes them with cologne, expensive cologne!
He has a hypnosis voice. He laughs ALOT!
A quick obsevation of him is he is ALWAYS PARANOID. I would be too if I were him. That was a dead giveaway in his sermons. What "pastor" always looks over his shoulder as he does.
He is a very smart man, but he is very "sloppy" at what he does. My teenagers who are also victims caught on to him before I did. This speaks VOLUMES!.

My spouse has a heart for the Lord as well as I do. So Mr. Crain and my spouse get to talking about the Lord, etc... Then crain quits his job and they lose contact. Crain finds my spouse a couple years later, and says that God has blessed him big time. He would not say how much $ he was supposedly blessed with and goes on to say that God has called him to start a church in Sioux Falls, SD.
Then he says God told him he wants our family of 5 to help him start it.
I asked to see his ministers License and he showed it to me. It was legit. I asked him if he ever went to school to be a pastor and he said NO. He said he was ordained.
He knows the bible like the back of his hand, so we thought he was for real.
We were having financial difficulty in Forest Lake, MN and foreclosed on our home and moved to Sioux Falls with this man.

By the way, when he said God blessed him with all of this $ he went out and bought a 2008 Mercedes and paid cash for it. hmmmm.

We have been in Sioux Falls 1year to date. We are happy here, and do not regret the move, but regret knowing this man.

Anyway, he used my spouse and Sherrie Walton to start the house of fire sanctuary church here, which was run out of a little strip mall type of building.

I am not sure if the laws are the same for every state, but here, they require no less than 3 people to start the church and no more than 10.
So he got his minimum he needed.
The church here started Feb 24th 2008.

My spouse as well as Sherrie walton and crain all had to sign a certificate of Inc Non profit Corp drawn of by CHRIS NELSON Secratry of state.

So we start the church and no one attended for weeks on end except my family of 5 and juvenile family friend who moved with us. WE were his only audience, lol... He finally shut down when the kids realized he was a fake. They kept saying they did not want to go anymore, and it caused alot of friction in our family, because we thought this is what God wanted for our family.

Mr. crain had the nerve to tell us to have our son emancipated! We asked that he would pray WITH US and he said prayer does no good. Then he goes on to say our kids are like snakes living in a cave. This was all I needed to get up and walk away. He had my spouse brainwashed to leave me and the kids. What REAL pastor would say all of these harsh things?

When I finally convinced my spouse he was a spiritual abuser, he called crain to tell him he wanted out. Crains rebuttle was if you leave, you will go to HELL. They were literally arguing on the phone. Crain put up a good fight to keep my spouse in this ring, but he did not win this time.

So after we no longer attended, he and sherrie kept the doors open for maybe 3 weeks. My spouse wrote a letter to crain, and ordered him to have his name removed from the certificate of Inc, as he was no longer a part of that church cult thing he was running.
We told crain that we would be following up with CHRIS NELSON the sec of state here, to make sure it was removed within 2 weeks. It was removed all right, along with his and sherrie's. They packed up and moved to PA to start all over again! jeez!

Mr crain travels light. Back in MN when we were getting ready to move, crain moved here a month before we could. He asked my spouse to help him lift a couple of heavy items he had into a rented "van" not a truck, but a van lol.. My spouse saw his place of residence in prior lake, mn and it was very small.

My point here is, when he moved to Sioux Falls, he moved in a van, and bought a home on a lease purchase. The house he got that we never saw inside, was a 4 bedroom!! A single man, all his possesions in a van, I asked him why he needed such a big house. His response?? well, if he ever had guest speakers they could stay with him. I finally figured out the truth after the fact.. he needed a 4bdrm to house his fellow cults. He wanted my spouse to leave me and the kids and run with him.

He ended up breaking his lease on his house and the blg he ran the church out of. This man spent $1500- $2000 per sign for the church. There were plenty of signs.

The only sign he did not have was a WARNING sign, lol...

There is alot more to this story than I can type. As I said I will be putting a book out there someday. He can read my copy when he is behind bars where he belongs.

We have been in Sioux Falls 1year to date. We are happy here, and do not regret the move, but regret knowing this man.

Anyway, he used my spouse and Sherrie Walton to start the house of fire sanctuary church here, which was run out of a little strip mall type of building.

I am not sure if the laws are the same for every state, but here, they require no less than 3 people to start the church and no more than 10.
So he got his minimum he needed.
The church here started Feb 24th 2008.

My spouse as well as Sherrie walton and crain all had to sign a certificate of Inc Non profit Corp drawn of by CHRIS NELSON Secratry of state.

So we start the church and no one attended for weeks on end except my family of 5 and juvenile family friend who moved with us. WE were his only audience, lol... He finally shut down when the kids realized he was a fake. They kept saying they did not want to go anymore, and it caused alot of friction in our family, because we thought this is what God wanted for our family.

Mr. crain had the nerve to tell us to have our son emancipated! We asked that he would pray WITH US and he said prayer does no good. Then he goes on to say our kids are like snakes living in a cave. This was all I needed to get up and walk away. He had my spouse brainwashed to leave me and the kids. What REAL pastor would say all of these harsh things?

When I finally convinced my spouse he was a spiritual abuser, he called crain to tell him he wanted out. Crains rebuttle was if you leave, you will go to HELL. They were literally arguing on the phone. Crain put up a good fight to keep my spouse in this ring, but he did not win this time.

So after we no longer attended, he and sherrie kept the doors open for maybe 3 weeks. My spouse wrote a letter to crain, and ordered him to have his name removed from the certificate of Inc, as he was no longer a part of that church cult thing he was running.
We told crain that we would be following up with CHRIS NELSON the sec of state here, to make sure it was removed within 2 weeks. It was removed all right, along with his and sherrie's. They packed up and moved to PA to start all over again! jeez!

Mr crain travels light. Back in MN when we were getting ready to move, crain moved here a month before we could. He asked my spouse to help him lift a couple of heavy items he had into a rented "van" not a truck, but a van lol.. My spouse saw his place of residence in prior lake, mn and it was very small.

My point here is, when he moved to Sioux Falls, he moved in a van, and bought a home on a lease purchase. The house he got that we never saw inside, was a 4 bedroom!! A single man, all his possesions in a van, I asked him why he needed such a big house. His response?? well, if he ever had guest speakers they could stay with him. I finally figured out the truth after the fact.. he needed a 4bdrm to house his fellow cults. He wanted my spouse to leave me and the kids and run with him.

He ended up breaking his lease on his house and the blg he ran the church out of. This man spent $1500- $2000 per sign for the church. There were plenty of signs.

The only sign he did not have was a WARNING sign, lol...

There is alot more to this story than I can type. As I said I will be putting a book out there someday. He can read my copy when he is behind bars where he belongs.

You know you mentally abused justin my friend. His dad is going to see you behind bars also. So keep looking over your shoulder and be paranoid, the world now knows about you. You can run, but you cannot hide. If you cannot do the time, don't do the crime MR.!

Like I said, I am not afraid of crain, he is sloppy and if he knows what's best for him, he will stay away from me and my family, because I have the energies to go after him and put him where he belongs. And I will too.

I MADE A FEW GUESSES, NO DISRESPECT TO ANYONE BUT INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW...ESPECIALLY IF THEY BELONG TO ARSON INVESTIGATORS AND LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.

IF THEY HAVE A CRIMESTOPPERS LINE WHERE HE IS AT AND YOU WANT TO BE A LITTLE PROACTIVE AND HE REALLY HAS DONE ALL OF THAT STUFF, MAYBE YOU MIGHT WANT TO CAL THAT CRIMESTOPPERS LINE AND TELL THEM TO KEEP AN EYE ON THIS HOUSE OF FIRE...

Trust me.... She is just brain washed by him and he will use her until she is used up. I am pretty sure I know who you are. This may freak you out but you lived in WB and you worked for FL. He dooped me too. For years..... I wish there were some way that we could talk..... Get ahold of JM who works at RB and tell her to get ahold of me.... she knows who I am.... she is worried about you.... I have tons of information but I fear for my safety.

As far as I am concerned, Sherrie Walton is in on this as much as Mr. Crain. She has been on his side for the past 2 or 3yrs.
They both are running scams on the internet.
If you do a zabba search on thomas crain, you will see for yourself how much he has moved around.
I would be interested in how you found out this felony info on crain, as I have done extensive research on the internet (without paying) to bring this scam artist to his knees.
Please help and give more insight if possible.
