Be warned this guy and his company demand huge deposits before commencing work, then they employ unskilled labour to complete the tasks resulting in faulty workmanship, council refuse to sign off the inspections one council inspector said "this is the worst work I've seen in 29 years as an inspector " when confronted he lies and try's to blame the materials. Then he stops answering the phone, eventually he rang back saying the deposits his to keep and he doesn't care that he ripped us off. Total shark stare clear of this guy and his company. So far we have lost $ 80,000 and our new builder said his work is so bad he will have to tare down the entire house to rebuild it. This guy is a criminal and should be behind bars. We also herd of him collecting deposits and just running away with them. A real scam !!

This obvious defamatory character assassination of myself and a successful company I have worked hard to build in partnership with three colleagues is laughable. We specialise in subcontracting to large housing group companies offering labour only contracts to large scale developments and as such have never had deposits paid up front.
All labour only contracts are stage completion payment terms. We do not deal directly with the public instead concentrating on large multi build projects and will build over 100 quality homes this year for companies who we have longstanding relationships with.
We have worked with some companies for 10 years and are paid a premium by them for industry leading safety and training systems. We are members of Certified Builders and all 30+ staff and Diectors are trade qualified or in training with BCITO. All have site safe passports with best practice enforced and trade training regularly organised and encouraged.
There is only one company we have ever had a dispute with, because they stopped paying subcontractors, and that was Valiant Homes Limited formerly of Glenfield who are now in liquidation.
Valiant Homes Certainly did not ever pay deposits and were wound up owing millions to suppliers and subcontractors, including myself for $65k. I also spent another $35k+ with Madison Hardy Law pursuing legal proceedings only to be denied justice by Valiant Homes being put in liquidation. Google Sam Tolich and Hamish Clarke the former directors of Valiant Homes to see their sorry story.
The internet is not anonymous and it is a crime to publish false statements on a website, blog or forum. Impersonating Alan who formerly worked at valiant homes is also a crime. A digital trail is left by every keystroke and is easily revealed. Much like the character of the malicious culprit/s behind this slanderous attack.
I will be commencing legal proceedings to get the email account/s and IP address' to identify those responsible for the obvious defamation and publication of false statements and will hold all personally liable for damages and costs.

My name is Alan I worked for the complainant and this guy was part of the reason these guys went down. It is really sad to see other contractors getting hurt by the outcome of this selfish individuals actions. Stay away from doing business with Hunia.
